He died better in the actual anime though. Where he laid there as his lungs slowly filled up with blood, with 6 Chakra rods embedded all the way through his torso, pinning him to the ground. With the screen fading and he closes his eyes one last time. THAT was heartbreaking, especially when his spirit said goodbye to Naruto in the forest and he just knew Jiraiya was gone. Had me all choked up. =S I'm gonna go watch that episode again now.

This is for everyone who played this game and did this fight. WE helped Jiraiya fight Pain. think about it like when the button cues came up. We pressed the buttons in the right order and Jiraiya did really coll attacks on him. Remember how tired our arms got when we tap the circle button? WE helped Jiraiya finish that Rasengan. Al the other button mashing we did on the button cues were just so we can beat the game. WE fought this battle with Jiraiya. Even though he died you all did a great job
