@Helotes420 The back of the album has an eleborate explanation that a guitar is masculine and strings are feminine thats not necessarily so a guitar could be written to sound feminine and vice versa orchestration textbooks divide and group intstruments into differant sections tone colors registers but dont catagorise them as masculine or feminine
Thank,s guy,s Duane Eddy I love picking with his music . Duane was the one who i learn to play this old guitar that i now 40 years THANKS! so very much for his music video,s i can play aging with EDDY.
I started a Duane Eddy playlist today. I'm on a quest to assemble all the best music & musicians on earth at my channel. 10000 songs on 500 playlists so far for the 300 best artists on earth and 111 lists for every year since 1900. Play 1962 & hear this song with its other old school contemporaries ! ! !
Beautiful version of one of my all time favorite romantic ballads. Mr Eddy is truly one of the greats! Such a gifted performer. THANKS so much for sharing this delightful gem with us! :)
Nice to see such strong feelings for Duane Eddy music. Duane Eddy will release an all new CD in the near future. Brian Setzer has joined Duane on a song called "Thats The Way It Was When We Started To Rock And Roll" it was written by Duane and Mentor Williams (Drift Away). Also on the new Cd is Phil Everly and Griffen House.
Thank You. I do have the wholeTwangy guitar album along with my other favorite Twistin'nTwangin'. In fact I manage to get at least 5 originals from the late 50s and early 60s...Will post some when I will have the time to convert....
Back in 1963/64 my father bought Twistin'n'Twangin and Twangy guitars silky strings... Not only did I listen to them when they were played (often) at home by my parents...but I also played them myself later on...My bros and I created a group "The Crazy Caps" in 1979/80 and played music from the 50's/60's because that is what we really loved...and Duane Eddy's music was part of it...
drummer: since these are the "silky" ones do you have Elvis's Loving You fm Duane's Have Twangy Guitar Will Travel album? It's wonderful. If so, cld you post it? I still have my LP and was able to get CD fm a local "record" store small business called Integrity 'n Music. First tiem I walked in there 20 yrs ago on a Sat afternoon it was like entering the world of '50's rock and roll, jazz etc. Posters all over walls, Miles Davis, Coltrane, tons of LP's in ev category, smooth jazz playing...

Duane has such a simple innovative way of expressing hisself on the guitar, it's like the instrument is truly an extention of his own body.
Thanks for posting this unique rendition of a fantastic song.
