  • Owned and operated by another wall street criminal trying to spend his bounty.

  • Hа Hа this plane from Ukraine and it is sold for a long time already. The USA buys old Soviet technologies Jak-141 (F-35) Su-27....)))

  • so jealous!!!!

    fantastic!

  • Comment removed

  • RED BULL bought this Su-27 ! ! ! ! ! !

  • opps wrong board!!

  • The first X-29 was taken aloft on 14 December 1984 from Edwards AFB with Grumman's Chief Test Pilot Chuck Sewell at the controls.[1] With that flight, the X-29 became the second jet-powered aircraft to fly with forward swept wings (with the Nazi Germany-era Junkers Ju 287, which first flew in 1944, being the first.

If a person or a private aviation company has money, they can buy anything, must be nice

  • Sexy....I want one!

  • yeahhh civilians....mabye usa learn how to build some fighters instead get f22 XD

  • @mauricioalfredo83 Wait, what?

  • @mauricioalfredo83 And yet Russia builds the PAK-FA to counter the F-22, a plane which according to you is crap. why would they go out of their way if we can't "build fighters" and make a direct counter to the F-22A? oh right, your sentence made no sense and made yourself look like an idiot.

Looks like your little fanboyism of a country just backfired, XD.

  • I ll buy one or two for my self :)

  • how much runway do you need to stop this thing?

  • i can't think of more aggressive looking plane, its that long nose and the cobra look on the fuselage that's really impressive..

isn't 5 mil cheap?? how much it costs a military one and is it cheaper to maintain compared to the VIP ones... etc

  • @stefa4k0 it costs around the price of an F-15, probably these were first gen SU-27s, that is why they sold them.

  • I have heard of an American organisation selling 2 SU-27's for th civillian market. I soooooo badly want a decent Soviet era jet fighter! $5m is a bargain!

  • wow, that is awesome

  • ovo cu da kupim kad tad

  • Amazing fighter isn't it?

  • Russos tem as melhores aeronaves de batalha do Mundo ...

  • 5:37 -- faggot talking

  • To sum it up, imagine if i dont know, Japan sold F-15 to Russia. That would be horror for USAF because thats one of the best fighters over there. Anyway video is pretty cool and its always nice to see this bird flying :)

  • @sukhoi235 man, I want to get a F-15 from the saudis just to piss off the USAF ^-^ LOL!!!

  • @harris3693 You would not get an import license, sorry :-P The two SU27s are sold, but you can still get an Alphajet or L29...

  • @Norgesmann what about from the saudis, if u have the cash, u get it!!!

  • @harris3693 I´m not saying you can´t get one, I´m saying you can´t import it to the US. :)

  • @Norgesmann well, of course, the same goes for a SU-27 falkner, you cant't import one to Russia.

  • Reality about whole this deal.....Ukrainian goverment did this just to make Russians angry, Now ex-Ukrainian goverment was very west oriented and they knew Su-27 was Russian best fighter jet and selling thing like this to US is direct punch in the face. Now there is different goverment, pro-Russian and i doubt something like this will happen again but US got here a very big gift, US military can now practice with direct actual coutnerparts and that is a huge advantage.

  • @sukhoi235 True, but it's not like it's the first piece of Russian kit we got. I know of MiG-29, Mi-24 Hind, a lot of tanks and other stuff from USSR military etc.

But yeah if they used those for actual air combat practice that is pretty priceless.

  • @blackrob2002

Well Mig-29 is far behind Su-27. Su-27 is best thing after AA systems that USSR ever produced that why i consider it pretty valuable.

  • @sukhoi235 but if lockheed, boeing or northrop ever use any feature patened on this aircraft, they are in an shitload of trouble from Sukhoi lawyers as they can technically exploit Lockheed for that.

  • It's unfortunate the government bought these and whisked them away. Will you guys be getting any more of these or something else cool like a mig-29? A museum in washington got at least one.

  • This jet cost way more than five million the f16 cost around twenty million the su27 is around fifty million

  • @bobbyraejohnson Brand new the Su-27 cost $30 mil. When it's used and de-militarized like this one it's much cheaper.

  • great

  • Dayum... 5 million is cheap for a fine aircraft like this, but fuel prices are soaring :( . The flanker is my favorite aircraft and i would love to own one (if i had the time and money)

  • what did it sale for ?

  • Can't afford it :) unless I won euromillions this week (I haven't checked the ticked yet :-D). PLUS side: V.High Performance, Long range (unlike some Mig 29 which are also for sale but have much shorter range). 2 seater (It's a bit sad to own such a beast and not being able to share the sensation with comeone special). MINUS side: Where can I get maintnance? Ground crew required. Have to build up lots of flight time b4 flying this plus the time for ATPL and rating. Still... Irresistible :)

  • How in the world did you guys get a Su-27 privately owned?! I mean...

  • for sale? how many millions? do you take plastic? B-)

  • that's a beautiful looking airplane.

  • very good sound here ! rare !

  • kuzwa o 15 lat albo 30 lat sie spuznili

  • i have to admit it russian jet fighters are sexy. congratulations

  • Ukraine is the best!!!!????....

  • Excellent flying machine!!

  • Look at her! She´s huge! Looks good but i prefer the single seat ones...

  • Comment removed

  • Very nice how much?!

  • Surprised the US Government allowed this....

  • i want one too

  • Bring it to EAA 2011!!!

  • was some guy in the background talking about the pilot showboating? (:

  • @SkywardMedia : no matter how long the pilot flew on usual jet fighters like f5/f16's.

to tame the beast, the pilot needs. this is how, a jedi master you become.

  • five million dollars !

mwahahahaaahhaa ! haha! seriously, any flankers are high tier fighters, if only i was rich...

  • About 4.5 million US

  • WANT.

But then again, an F-14 would be my first choice ;)

  • if i had a su-27 i would make a world better )))

  • at 5:40, "I dont care if its a Test Pilot or not they always gota show boat"...LOL!!!

  • That plane is so beautiful

  • Boy would I love to have on of these.. so that the air force would think I'm invading air space & try to shoot me down.. which I will then happily sue the living shit out of em lol

  • Awesome!

  • See you at Reno! I recommend some fake sidewinders.

  • Wtf, its like flying up just on 30 metres.

  • I love All Type Sukhoi...

  • See it in XXS ;-)))

    --- watch?v=Qjylm7FONmE&hd=1

  • Did you never saw it in XXS ?

    --- watch?v=W1KeNinUHdg&hd=1

    ;-)

  • If only it had a JFS so it wouldn't take an entire ground crew to start the engines, it would be perfect ;)

  • @sekiryu the entire groud crew was doing everything else beside starting up the engines :) (except one person for a short time attaching a cable)

  • @madim82 But without that guy connecting/disconnecting the hose and starting/stopping the air compressor, why is a ground crew even needed during startup? Do a walk around, make sure everything is in order, start her up and go.....?

  • @sekiryu...because it was its FIRST flight since being rebuild.

  • awesome 5*

  • If someday. i got these. i would change the paint job.

  • God. every person i know wants them. including me. that would be fun flying this at home. over the twin ports. fly with the 148thFW. that would be fun.

  • Wonderful

  • @TheTurbinator - The pilot has LOTS of modern figher time. He's doing it exactly by the book. Not sure why you think it's incorrect.

  • @SkywardMedia What is the selling tag?

  • @TheTurbinator yep, they'd throw a pilot with no experience right into the cockpit of a flanker, makes sense to me

  • @TheTurbinator From what I understand, the pilot used to fly F-15's among other jets.

  • @TheTurbinator learn about the plane... su-27 is quite tail heavy..

  • @TheTurbinator Haha, if you've done any research at all (which you obviously haven't), you would realize that the pilots in this video are highly experienced in fighter aircraft.

Why don't you get back to playing flight simulator, and leave the real flying to the experts.

  • @TheTurbinator Dude, are you fucking kidding me? It's stupid internet wankers like you who have never even SAT in a private aircraft that come on here and make jackass comments like this that piss me off. Stick to your sim, asshole. Your comment is so off base that I'm not even going to address the idiocy of it. Dumbass.

  • @rcvideoshooter what if he is actually a pilot of a F-22? Some times its hard to seperate the people that aren't trolling.

  • @TheTurbinator You don't seem to have a clue!!! Skywardmedia is right, he did it like it was suppose to be done. Oh and FYI that plane doesn't have spoilers, it has an air-brake ;-)

  • @TheTurbinator It's an airbrake, not a spoiler. Learn your engineering, learn your definitions.

  • This is good stuff.

  • A conversation between 2 rich kids.

"Hey what present did your father took you for christmas"

"He took me a nice ferrari enzo costing 1mil Euros! How about you?"

"Oh he took me the Su-27 the best russian aircraft made to date costing 25mil Euros, Don't know what to do with it though :("

  • No fucking way this jet is my dream fucking lucky rich fag. ill take this jet over any mig or f15-f16, personal choice. Looks do matter lol.

  • @jezza1789 Luck has nothing to do with it. It's called REALLY hard work. Look into it.

  • how much would a plane like this cost to buy. im guessing upwards of 5mill USD?

  • @ksakbk Your guess is just about exactly correct. :-)

  • lol Ukraine is so ghetto they sold fighters to American civilians

  • @OlderG0ds the Ukraine sold these jets ?

  • @tomjohnson1974 Yes they did and I think Pride sold them for $5 million each

  • @OlderG0ds But their woman are so fine!!!

  • What a beautiful jet fighter the Flanker is, a real showpiece, I just love the graceful lines. I imagine flying a warbird of this magnitude is addicting.

  • how come the flankers are so huge? they are enormous.

  • What's up with the hater in the back ground saying "I don't care if he's a test pilot or not, he's always showing out, riding it on the rear wheels". Don't hate on the guy because he's a much better pilot than yourself. Jealousy will get you no where. Go get back in your Piper Cub and pretend like your him...lol

  • real life LOMAC anyone?

  • Are those seats "hot"? Meaning are they fully functioning ejection seats?

  • I WANT ONE!

  • this is one of the most beautiful planes ive seen

  • Where in Rockford is there a place to fly something like this? I used to race out at Blackhawk Farms, but that didn't have a strip associated with it.

  • @SomeUselessGeek -- A little place called the Chicago/Rockford International Airport. ;-) (And actually, there IS a small grass strip at Blackhawk Farms...)

  • @SkywardMedia Oh, wow. I thought I knew where all the regional airports around Chicagoland were. I never even knew that Rockford has a two runway airport! Oy!

  • it would be great to own but the only problem is it costs thousands for each flight becasue all the maitnance and fuel needed for it so yougot to have a ton of money

  • This thing costs $5,000,000. can you buy that. hmm Good luck with that.

  • Now, if it would just come to Airventure 2010....Hmmm, have always wanted to see one.

  • Wish I had lots of money.. I'd be buying me one of those..

  • how much?

  • To John, Nathan, and everyone else at Pride; Congratulations. I had heard the rumors about this for so long and I'm excited to see what happens from here. Also, congrats to Steve Kirik, Pride's pilot. I can just see his huge grin every time he flies this awesome aircraft.

    comments:

-keeping it on two wheels is called aerodynamic braking.

-with so much equip. removed, the airplane is light enough to easily slopped without a chute (and there are no "rules".. civilian use)

  • My Dad, Steve Kirik, is one of the pilots in the video!!

  • @lkirik6 and what his opinion on this plane, as people fly American planes?

  • well your dad really sucks at landing haha but still very cool. oh was like he in the airforce or somthing or can any one with a pilots licsense fly that thing?

  • @lkirik6 Cool, was he in the military?

  • @lkirik6 you should be very proud :)

  • @lkirik6 looks like at the very end your father don't want to go out of the planee... lol XD

  • Holy crap!! Another reason i *need* to win the Euro Millions!! :]

  • 4.950.000... OMG! That´s alot! But the weirdest thing is that possibly it is already sold. :) I mean who wouldn´t like to own a plane like this? It is like a painting. There is no need to fly it. Even on the ground it looks beautiful! And if you would fly with it... You won´t forget it. :)

  • Was this payed for individually, or by a group of donations? Oh, and how much did it cost you guys, like a few mil. ?

  • This is a sexy aircraft.

  • 4:35 beautiful touch and go as she goes to full military thrust with the speed brake up

  • She is a cutie! Sounds really great synched up with Жанна Фриске - Портофино / Zhanna Friske - Portofino

  • The obvious difference between the MiG-29 and the SU-27 is that the MiG is a teeny-weeny lightweight dedicated interceptor (MiG-29A) and the SU-27 is a massive mutlirole, with much bigger range and heavier weapons support.

  • Great video! I got the chance to see an Su-35 at Farnborough, UK back in 2000. Awesome machine.

  • holycrap, now that would be something to brag about alright, forget lamborghini's and ferrari's

badass! i wonder how long it'll take for them to get sold tho.

  • Is this really in america? How did they get this aircraft?! I would totally buy it if i lived there and had the money...

  • Yes it is. You can buy it if you have the money. There are currently two of them for sale.

  • from ukraine in 2007 they bought 2 of them.

  • what is the difference between this and a mig 29 they kind of look the same

  • The MiG-29 is a multirole tactical support fighter. Similar to the F-16 and F-18. The Su-27 is a pure air supiriority fighter like the F-15. Su-27 is about twice as big as the MiG-29.

  • @Krasnyi ok thanks i gotta say that this is one of the most beautiful machines or anything i have set my eyes on its just unbelivable someone thought of this shape from their head it is so perfect. I just favorited the video called "SU-27 and SU-35 Super Jets" it really shows howe beautiful this plane is. Oh ya the camo on this jet looks amazing

  • @sohcsarewicked Mig is said to be made for multirole but is basically a plane hunter, especially the Ovt version, Su is made for long range support of bombers as well as bombing!

Mig is twice a light and has exceptional maneuverability!

  • Saw one of these at the airfest. very cool!!!

  • I read about these two Flankers in Pacific Flyer and Trade-a-Plane. There are only two in the country and looks like they were sold to TAC Air Support in Reno, NV now.

  • @XF540: Sorry, some of your information is incorrect. The aircraft have NOT been sold.

  • @SkywardMedia What nation did they serve prior to your acquisition of them?

  • @GenesisScholar -- They are from Ukraine.

  • @GenesisScholar

I m a little bit curious...whats the most important thing in a military jet?as a civilian, i could never imagine to have a military jet..its all about the software?

  • Just beautiful! Well done, American Pride.

  • Damn I need £2mill, or maybe i could give a few grand to ride in one

  • Damn- I live 2 minutes down the road from Rockford Airport and have never seen nor heard these things.

  • lebanon has 10 Mig yesterday they passed near my house i saw the pilot ! it was amazing

  • maaaan i am lebanese but have been living in cyprus for like 7 years.. and i remember wen i was a kid a fighter plane passed veeery close to my housem i could see all the details on it.. but when i tell people here they make fun of me and tell me im dreaming:p but thanks god now i have proof that it could happen:p

  • We need to raise some cash...let's see...I know, comrade!...Let's sell our fighter jets to the Americans!

  • i could not imagine owning one of these, it would be the coolest toy ever

  • Russian aircrafts are amazing in flight characteristics, but they need in more better avionics. Especially in electronic warfare systems.

  • But you couldn't fly anywhere and still get a tall enough ladder to get out of the cockpit.

  • 4:40 touch and go :D

  • LOVE IT!! Thanks for this!!!

  • Thanks for a wonderful video. What a beautiful aircraft. Russian aerodynamic design leads the World..

  • Compare a Mig 21 to a SU-27 is like comparing a 1957 Chevy to a ZR1 Corvette. Where the Mig-21 departs controlled flight, the Mig is still in the middle of the envelope..

  • I have a Mig 21. Well, not really. What I have is a '57 Chevy...

  • Amazing!

    3 time to landing!

i think that the pilot didn't stoped the Fligth!

    it's a inteligent pilot!

See you in Brazilian Sky!(Rio de Janeiro)

  • Looks Russian

  • nope kia, early kia

  • That was awesome!

  • To John, Nathan, and everyone else at Pride; Congratulations. I had heard the rumors about this for so long and I'm excited to see what happens from here. Also, congrats to Steve Kirik, Pride's pilot. I can just see his huge grin every time he flies this awesome aircraft.

    -AB is cool =)

  • *be easily stopped

  • Wow, very short take off. But why did they land without drag shute?

  • @Tubeesaur I was thinking the same thing, a drogue chute is mandatory in most places that fly flankers because of the shorter runways in most countries, US runways from what I know are much longer and better managed surfaces, plus just the cost factor of deploying a chute in civilian aviation does not make sense, + these birds are de milled, meaning they have no gun, much of the electronic systems have been removed meaning they are much lighter , still very very cool

  • Because it is additional maintenance... and maybe also because the pilot don't have high skill on it .. as you can see the Sukhoi bounce 3 times before land ..

( went i do one bounce during a landing i consider it as bad landing )

If you want see a drag chute deployment on civil plane .. just seek on youtube : Learjet parachute

  • Very nice video ! 5 stars... Thank's !

  • bin total ungezogen heute wer will mit mir camn der kann sich ja melden

  • Very nice, but I think a Mig 21 is a much better deal, for around $150k. Don't think the performance of a SU27 justifies a 33x higher price than the Mig21's on the market now. But there are always people who have more money than they know what to do with...

  • I wonder if this is one of the two aircraft the Ukrainian government sold to the US during the summer. I hate our government... We just gave away two aircraft from our air force so some millionaire would get to fly them... This is my favorite airplane, by the way.

  • "Thank you for purchasing a fine SU-27 from the Sukhoi Design Bureau. We are sure you will enjoy many happy hours smashing capitalist pigs in our high performance aircraft. Please fill out and return the attached warranty registration card."

  • AWESOME!!!

  • this is fantastic. hope to see this bird on the air show circuit someday.

hats off to a job well done, I am officially excited about this project. hope she gets the flying time she deserves.

  • Cooll!! How much this one would costs?

  • 5 Million about
