Very much the soundtrack to my teenage years. A superb band. In answer to Mikeys comment from long ago, I don't think a reformation is on the cards. I believe Vince McCusker is now a minister of religion and no longer plays the "Devil's music". Whilst I respect his decision, I think it is a shame, they were such a good band and very underrated, being eclipsed by the likes of Genesis and Yes on the mainland. Better management might have helped but the music lives on. Nice one, guys.
i FIRST SAW FRUUP IN KILKENNY IRELAND IN THE EARLY 70S, i TRAVELLED THE SOUTH EAST OF IRELAND TO SEE THEM WHERE EVER THEY PLAYED. GREAT LIVE PERFORMERS..WISH i COULD SEE THEM AGAIN
Around 1973 I went to the Kursal in Southend to see Deep Purple but they didn't turn up - Fruupp stood in and I became a fan. Anyone looked at Stephen Houston's websites? I don't quite understand what's happening there!
What an absolute pleasure to hear the boys live again - at the time I THOUGHT they were blo_dy good, now after listening to this 30 years on, I KNOW they were blo_dy good !

Unbelievable, I never ever heard about this great prog group here in Germany, even in "my" 1970's.
I swear you I'd have infiltrated all my friends with this wonderful music and it would have been a highlight at our partys.

Great band saw them twice in Liverpool. Once with Houston and then with Mason. Wouldn't it be cool if they reformed !!

Check out the fan site of Fruupp. Has info on live recordings. Was recorded at Belfast Ulster in November 1973.

You're right. To be more precise, it was recorded for Ulster TV.

We went to the recording for this as 16 year old schoolboys. A magic evening.
