The reason why Anderson is being played in the DM position is that he must learn the art of tackling. That was one area that Scholes was poor at. Once Fergie sees Anderson gaining the ability to tackle, and tackle well. He will become the complete all round player AND then you will see Anderson performing skills and scoring like this video shows. I think both him and nani will do well in the upcoming season. I also agree with 51Q841 Anderson should have got the shirt number 7 instead of Owen.
