You have very good sleights but my question to you is do you perform? Do you routine your effects? If the answer to the first question is yes, then are you flashy when you perform as well? Just curious i'm in no way trying to be rude.
Practice, practice and even more practice. The more you work with cards, the more used to the cards your hands will get thus the smoother you get. It took me three years in card magic to get to this level of smoothness, and that is with continuous practice. Keep practicing the way you do and you'll be fine. Thanks for your comment.
@ PSDproductions: If you're not able to catch a break easily, just try it without one, that's what I do. All I do when double-lifting is pushing the top cards with my thumb, it's not very difficult to sufficiently do it then. :)
Not really, this is supposed to be more of a convincer emphasizing on the the individuality of the card. I wouldn't do this normally, however I would use parts of the sequence to ensure the spectator believes it to be one card. Obviously I would not spend 16 seconds just showing them their card, this is a mere showcase of a few moves I use when pulling off a double as a single.
very smooth but u should get new cards

ive got a question for you though.
how do you catch your break when doing a double.
My double lift is decent but i cant seem to catch my break very fast and it seems unnatural sometimes.

I think he meant the method, like pinky count, thumb lift, pushoff etc.
