It's odd - I love Osipova and Vasiliev usually when they dance individually and I love them together in Don Quixote and Flames of Paris. However, somehow they are not right together here, or, more particularly, Ivan is not right for Natalia and vice versa. Maybe he would have been better with a smaller, slighter dancer than Natalia is. For me, he looks a little unrefinedin this - I just don't think it's his role, magnificent though his jumping is.
