  • the 2006-present Acura CSX is assembled in

    Alliston, Ontario, Canada

  • we have this car in malaysia as the honda civic. the civic type R in malaysia uses K20A engine. 220hp 2.0 i-vtec my dears :)

  • LOL, farming! Your entry three apexes in was about 5-10mph too fast. Yep, that's all it takes ;).

  • CSX - 155hp, 5 spd. manual

    CSX Type S - 197hp, 6 spd. manual

  • its okay buddy!!! keep it up, eventually you'll get better!!!

  • csx = civic same thing.

ctr =/= civic no no big no

  • the csx is the successor to acura EL right?

  • i know it used to be the rsx

  • yes indeed

  • Yeah I l now know people. The one I bought my wife is just a CSX with 155hp. The salesman told me there was no bigger motor for the CSX.

Which I now know to be incorrect!

Anyhow my wife loves her Acura CSX and thinks its the best car she ever owned. Even if its not the Type S.

  • the csx has 155 hp but the type-s has 197 hp just to end this arguement

  • this is just a normal honda civic (and civic Si) with an Acura badge....i think this is for the canadian markets cus in the United States they're just plain Honda Civics (155 hp) and Civic Si's (197 hp)

  • @KonkaniAmche you're wrong.. both american and canadian civics are only 140hp. csx are 155hp which are the same engines they also use in jdm civics. also csx has different front and rear lights which imo looks better than the civics.

  • GerryK61, From Wikipeida:

    Type-S

The Type-S variant debuted as a 2007 model and uses the identical drivetrain found in the US and Canadian market 2006+ Honda Civic Si which consists of a 2.0L I4, 197 horsepower (147 kW) i-VTEC engine (K20Z3), 6-speed manual transmission and helical limited-slip differential.

  • I don't why ppl say the Acura CSX is 197hp!

Its not its 155hp with a 5spd auto.

  • The Type-S CSX has 197hp, and to add to that, my friend has a base model CSX with a manual transmission, proving that your statement is incorrect.

  • csx-s is 197hp

    like the civic si

  • I own one and I love it. K20 power! ;-) And yes the Acura CSX TypeS does really exist only in Canada lol!

  • Yeah, I wish they'd bring it to America already.

  • CSX Type S = Honda Civic Type R in Japan, minus some of their awesomeness if I'm not mistaken

  • u are correct.

  • I don't think the CSX type-S is the same as the CTR. Same outside appeance but the engine is the same as the USDM Civic Si.

In all honesty, the CSX Type-S is really more like the USDM Si, just with the fancy stuff from Acura.

  • Cool video, We get the JDM honda civic in North Africa and its the same as the acura CSX with DC2 engien. I have it for more then a year now and it sounds just like this. Keep it up;)

  • Is this in Canada? (cause US didn't get CSX only Canada did) If so, where is this track located?

  • damn its understeering a lot

  • umm i clearly SEE an ACURA logo on the steering wheel but i guess ur just jelous of it cause i kinda am but im happy with my SI sedan by the way do u know what the horse power this car gets??

  • its the same as the Si. All it is really is a Civic Si sedan really. 197bhp plus the luxury amenties of Acura...

  • Uh, yeah, it is. Look at the end of the video, the badge one steering wheel is Acura, not Honda.

You probably don't even know what an Acura CSX is.

  • Is this a stock Type-S? Or was there some mods that he has done on this?

  • sounds stock, i have one.
