Does your low rent, wanna-be Mercedes have power adjustable pedals, dual heated leather seats, dual zone automatic climate control, automatic rain sense wipers, and in dash navigation? Because my Jeep has all that. Oh, it also has V8 power that makes a laughing stock of your 4 banger. All this in a vehicle I bought to off road and tow with.
Thanks and I agree entirely that it's not a horsepower track. Which also means its not particularly hard on brakes either. I was just at Laguna Seca and it was a whole other ball game. My average speed at Inde is 68mph, while Laguna Seca was 76mph and the braking was so much more severe that I cracked a rotor.

@17etnies I couldn't keep up? LOL He had Hoosier race slicks and I passed him and walked away from him. My top lap times are many seconds quicker than when I was following this car. As for the Nurburgring,
Your time for the STi is also a complete LIE. That time was set by a modfied car including a different turbo. The fastest stock time for any STi ever is 8:06.
And like etnies, said corvettes interiors are plastic, so cheap.

Good video and nice driving. I don't consider Inde to be a horsepower track (only one real straight) so a Lotus should totally be in its element.

Nurburgring is more about a good driver and a car with a high top speed.
Gumpert appolo is faster on nurburgring... Almost all motorcycles above 600cc.
The stock C6 Z06 is 7:49, a stock STI is 7:55
stock GTR is 7:24(in semi-wet conditions. by the way.)

Stock 2005 base Z06 went 7:42.9 back in 2005.
Stock 2011 Z06 with the Z07 package went 7:22.6
Stock ZR1 went 7:19.6
