Evolution is part of NATURE and is NOT Athiesm at all... what we know is the secondary causes or the Order of GENERATION by the FIRST CAUSE from the Order of CREATION. One cannont find one trace of ATHIESM even in a catscan, a radar bleep, a magnify glass, microscope or by telescope.
What is this 'Atheism' that you are talking about? Are you looking for a substance of some sort? What does it look like? Where can one find it on the periodic table?

Get any EVOLUTION book (not a creationist one)and take a VERY good look at the creatures involved within the zone, jot down habitat, the FEATURES of the creature within a family tree such as the fishes for now.
I have studied many of those family trees... each one can be broken down to the habitat of the animal or plant at that time, the size and weight of the creature in the hydraulics of WATER, the feature of the creature ( nice rhyme too), for the escape factor. I made charts to illustrate with science only for the most part what occurred. Thank you , brother SA, for the awesome chart ( really, I like ) but it just needs to be 'developed' or 'advanced' better.
Well, it is a nice 'evolutionary' chart or model but seriously if one looks at science FACTS one will see by explaing the hydraulics of water, the climate change and the habitat of creatures one will see have to place the Ark of Noah on top of the chart too. Charles Darwin was just a man that stumbled upon the idea of evolution and common ancestry. It just so happened that he was right on some parts and wrong on others. The theory has been continually revised and is supported independently of Darwin himself.

We're the only species that has excised itself from the natural order, and now changes its environment to suit itself rather than evolving to suit its environment. We're the natural order's error.
I don't think of it as an error, I see it more as the ultimate evolved form from the natural order. A species that can manipulate the natural order, is, at least in my opinion, the ultimate in evolution. That doesn't mean we are perfect or anything, but, we are now the masters, we are now the manipulator, not the manipulated.
Perhaps in some ways, but in most we are still slave to every instinct that the evolutionary process has saddled us with. We have a neocortex, but most of us are content to allow the primitive unthinking impulses of our amygdala govern our actions. So we're a species in no way ready for the responsibility of being the manipulator.
Oh agreed there, we have some growing up to do as a whole, but, there are individuals among the species that are not content with the primitive unthinking oblivion. I'm one of those, and I'm willing to bet you are to. Slowly but surely we are getting there. As I'm sure you know, it takes a long time.

We usually search for fossils when we are on vacation on Gotland, Sweden, and its always fun to find. There are quite many there still.

We are the only species that consistently effects its own environment in such away as we may effect our own evolution.
For the past 100,000 yrs or so our evolution may have plateaued. We need a bit of a sustained environmental disaster to change us again.
It also looks quite likely that sexual selection has played an unusually strong role in our evolution as a species.
