Dylan, Try typing AUDIOON , that will have the tape sound coming out out the coco audio output. Then type MOTORON, that will start the tape motor. If you can hear the usual noise, then just rewind to the beginning or the program and type CLOADM or CLOAD. Make sure your screen/monitor volume is on ;-)
I have a color computer 2 that I got mint condition for $20.00 in box and everything with all the packaging stuff and manuals, and I seem to have a problem loading the things I saved on cassette, cause I know the stuff on the cassette I can play it back on speaker and hear the noises, but it just wont load it after that. I wonder if you have any clue why being a fellow color computer 2 owner. I am not 100% sure about what you where talking about in your video tho ha ha. but I am half asleep.
