@fabto555 In the very bottom right corner you should see a trash can. One button left from there in Photoshop is the "Create a New Layer" button, the one that looks like a folded paper or something. If you can't see the layer window, press F7.

@Nixta2010 If you follow the instructions, the picture you have cutted is left transparent. Just add another layer, drag it under the cut-layer, then copy and paste the background you want.

If you mean the ones near the colors, it depends on what version of Photoshop you use. This was made with CS3, so they should automatically be there. If not, go to Window -> Workspace -> Default Workspace
