  • well haters gonna hate thats just life. yeah and you got nothing to prove.

  • slick set up

  • I like how u said go screw ur self to the critics without the words. Awesome.

  • You had nothing to prove. Cheers man, get better soon.

  • dood sorry to hear about the stroke - your left hand and your mix eq seem unaffected and Im sure you worked hard as hell but things look and sound good. If I were you I would do whatever I could to

try to rehab that frozen right side even if its only a tiny bit at a time try to accomplish a little step by step. My respect to you and good luck pal!

  • Burn?

  • thumbs up if you came here expecting to see the video response from the "How to Upload a video response" video XD

  • You had a stroke and you still tried to prove that you could DJ. Major respect bro. You are the Rick Allen of DJing.

  • Excellent work Brian, theres so much more to DJing then mixing and I'm glad you show as many aspects of the business as you do, you are truly an inspiration to all us dj's especially when you are doing this with one hand tied behind your back (sorta Spaek) ;)

  • Way to go Brian, you still got it !

  • When I heard about the stroke, I watched every one of your videos. It took me 12 hrs and 34 minutes. I'm dedicated. xD

  • Nuff said,huh?

  • funktuall brought me here!

  • Good video...!!!

  • keep strong brian

    great vids man

  • always keeping the focus on how you can help people with these videos brian,... u never show off... ur a big help to all of us, and the fact that u can go at 3 decks with one arm after all the criticism... i think it's about time u show a bit of what you can do with a limp arm... wow...

  • I keep telling people, being a DJ isn't all about beat matching. I never said I was a great mixer but I know how to read a crowd. If the music is good and the people are dancing to your music, the transitions between the songs are the least of my problems.

  • You hear so often that being able to beat-match is absolutely essential to being a DJ, that the SYNC function is the devil and even go so far to state "you're NOT a DJ unless you can beat-match properly." Brian you've always stated it's no big deal but good on you for doing this video.

For the rest of you. You can beat-match all you want but if nobody is dancing, your mixing skills are absolutely redundant.

  • GIVE IT UP FOR THE ONE AND ONLY BRIANSREDD BEHIND THE WEELS OF STEEL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love your decks and the lighting in that room , very nice mix aswell

  • OMG I need to get that H2O... LOVE IT!!

  • good come back man. just because u dont use tech 12's doesnt mean your not a 12 u can take those tech 12's and turn em into paperweights ill take my s4 over techs anyways

  • @djredskyy dj sorry way to late/ early in the morn to type

  • Yeah Buddy!!! Great video!!

  • How are you recovering tho brian ? are getting your hand back at all ?

  • Great job Brian...nice proof of good mixing

  • Amazing!!

  • And there you have 3 Drives on A Vinyl... 1 handed.. AWESOME!

  • go man you rock!!!

i've seen your videos since ever and you my good man are simply the most pure state of djaying i've ever seen!!!

  • GOOD JOB BRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I understand how you feel because my mother had a stroke about 2 years ago!!!!!

  • Fair play man just go show ya but ur mind to any thing and u still b the best . great videos keep the good work up .gaz from. rep of ireland

  • Brian you rock .....:)

  • Keep yo head up! u made an impact in this world!

  • I think mixing beats is over represented on youtube. Like you said Brian what's the point of watching guys with two turntables mix songs with similar beats for 10 minutes . Beat mixes at weddings are a real challenge with short intros and outros. using songs that everybody knows.

  • Pirate laugh...you show em buddy:D!!!!

  • brian, think positive! the time that will be needed to recover your right arm....will make you a "both arm guy"...you`ll train the left arm ;)

  • Fuck the haters Brian ! What records were you spinning in this vid ?

  • Amigo tu no tienes nada que probar, sabemos que tu eres un profesional 100% y eso nos basta. te admiramos por tu talento. Gracias por tu inspiracion.

  • Hell yeah way to go Brian, and keep these vids coming

  • Way to go dude!

  • Strong man

  • Good for you Brian!

  • damn thats some pretty crazy mixing. Honestly i should learn how to do that...its a matter of getting a good turntable or another good CDJ type player... money ya know?

  • @TekedixXx if you have 2 cdjs/decks then hook your laptop up to your 3rd output, start on that song and mix in the other 2, you don't need to fool around with the pitch on the one that you start on so why not just use that? ;) when I'm scratching I often just look for an instrumental beat on youtube and scratch over it with my deck, which is a nice tip if you like scratching but don't have serato/traktor and don't have enough instrumentals to keep your itch scratched. ;)

  • thank you

  • Enjoyed the video, thanks for posting!

  • you keep proving those points bri!! : )

  • True Skills right there. Brian just shut these wave watching, garbage talking losers down. He didn't even have to babysit a platter. Great message and point Brian!

  • That's pretty damn good. That 3rd deck is crazy far away from the mixer. I don't think I could pull that off with with both arms.

I hope your still working on whatever therapy you need to regain use of the right arm.

  • Yeah awesome job dude. The two dj subscriptions I have is you and eangolden. Sometimes I watch his midi fighter mixes. Do you think the midi fighter is good seems a bit expensive?

  • Awesome dude! Everyday your making improvements!

  • why do people hate?? Cant we all just get along LOL

  • @xavierjavy Everyone gets along pretty good most of the time, but you gotta have assholes out there so you can appreciate the cool people even more!

  • @briansredd people hate because is the cycle of life =)

  • Comment removed

  • you have to have haters, without them people won't have any motivation to get better (even though they might be at their best)

  • @briansredd goodthing that asshole hasnt seen this video 0 dislikes YAY

  • @briansredd One thing I always say Brian "there are always one or two assholes in every crowd" lol..I don't get upset as this thought keeps me calm about it.lol

  • Earlier this week, we buried my brother in law who had a stroke. Everyday is a gift. You have nothing to prove to anyone. You rock, enough said.

  • @CRash5150 The big thing i actually need to prove is that i can still do it. The person i need to prove that to the most is myself :) So, as i heal and recover, i need to keep on keepin' on and continue to improve along the way. As you said, to paraphrase, some are not as lucky as others, and i'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Despite our set-backs, as long as we're still here, we're going to be OK if we believe we can be

  • @briansredd as long as you're here, I'll be here listening and learning. Maybe God tied your hand behind your back, so the rest of us could catch up. :)

  • nice message brian!! push yourself, dont give up, and you get to keep enjoying your practice!!

  • Nice one Brian! Ahaha, inspirational much? XD

  • people that have full function have no right to judge those that do not

Great video, I am glad you can still do what you enjoy. keep it up forever Thanks

  • @jgant2008 Oh nobody has beat me up to my knowledge since the stroke about "real" DJing. Point here is, ok for thoes who doubted me then, how ya like me now? HA!

  • I bet no other person could mix with 1 arm!!

  • @DMX820 Sure they can.

  • @briansredd No. You're special

  • @DMX820 ...I can... or at least I try to

  • Good work Bri! lets show em that it works perfectly fine to dj with one arme.... if I had any gear i'd post a video on this.... (I hade a similar thing to a stroke so i ca't work my right side so good as well)

  • Keep going! Impossible is nothing!

  • Nice! Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and it usually stinks. it's good to see you still pushing yourself too Brian. DJ's dj, haters hate. it's the way it's always been lol.

  • @dadge35 P.S. Yo! you aint no proper DJ dude! you aint used no effects! or cdj's! ;)

  • Great vid bri

  • looking good brain :)
