I said her MIXING SKILLS are amatuer. Again, her ability to blend tracks which is way more important than scratching, is average at best. I've watched several clips of her different performances and all I've seen are straight drops and slam mixes into the next track. She's very much a gimmick, but sexy?!?! I think not. I'm a party DJ so my work is much different from hers. I like my style because it involves quick mixing/beat matching and scratching just like it was in the old school

Yep...Shortee is hands down a badass. I could never imagine having to do what she did here at a friggin trade show. Some dude said he was bored....energy goes both ways. I'd be bored off my arse with a dead crowd and just passers by...feel like I'm in the studio or something. Swell job she did showing versatility in the program. Anyone manufacturing something like this would love to have Shortee representin for them.

Why are folks hating on Shortee? She's one of the best multi-genre Dj's on Earth, and folks still want to nitpik about her scratching and such?! She's well respected in the game by lots of heads including Jazzy Jeff and Q-Bert. Shortee is kick ass period. Shortee uses a Pioneer Efx for digital effects processing. In this set she mainly uses it for the Echo effect for scratches.

Why do these people think that you couldn't be bored watching someone scratch for 1/2 an hour? To me it proves nothing. I 've heard the best "scratchers's", live: Jazzy Jeff, DJ Red Alert, Jay from Run DMC (RIP), and believe me, they did not scratch half as much as this woman - and Jeff invented the "Transformer" scratch, but live, he blended and cut most of the night. Like you said, what dj worth their salt can't scratch?

I would love to hear her "house music" set...if she scratches house...

lol good luck, the white Serato vinyl was distributed to celebrity DJ's only, and they made very few of them. They don't make them anymore.

actually they distributed the white vinyl at trade shows, not to just celebrities. I picked up 7", 10" and white vinyls from shows like namm. I even picked up the scratch live edition of the D-Styles Table cloths. Find a way into those things =)
