  • Very well done. Gracias.

  • I wanted the Ubuntu terminal commands.

  • Just the window appears when I click Terminal. Does anyone know what i do to get the begining stuff back?

  • you know you can do this without terminal right

  • hey wanted to kno if you knew how to replace dll files using terminal im trying to crack fl studio.

  • r u gay

  • wtf @ the dockbar

  • go to spotlight and search terminal

  • Nice....I love it.. Very helpful...!

  • can't hear u and can't see what u r doing

  • wow you have like 50 programs in the dock

  • nice basics :) but you don't need to type in the path all the time

if you are on the desktop, and want to go into 'test' all you have to do is: cd test/

    not the whole path :)

  • where did you find the sheet with all the codes

  • That was really beneficial. Now I can play around in Terminal for a while, then hopefully switch to Kubuntu or Arch Linux : )

Thanks a lot for this video

  • @10011010011 Arch is a lot more intuitive than this. You really have to know kernels, system structure, and configuration file coding. You don't get a GUI at all. It's all terminal. You can use xorg to get a desktop, but then you have to get a windows manager and then configure all that stuff to work together. If you read the wiki's it isn't bad, but if you're used to using macs, I would not recommend arch at all. Kubuntu, Ubuntu, Fedora, and maybe Mint would be the way to start off.

  • How do you find this stuff out?!?! It's sick tho thx

  • wish i could see what you were writing

  • You should really clean up your dock.

  • LOL

  • how can u get every app on the dock

WITHOUT selcting every app i want on the dock

  • why do you have every single app on your dock?

  • how did you make you terminal look like that?? its awesome!

  • Go under Terminal>Preferences and at startup: on startup, open: and choose homebrew. hope i helped

  • Wow I didn't know I could do all this, you made me feel like a genius. It's so much fun I could make directories all night long. You earned a subscriber :)

  • Thanks, glad you liked it

  • @Dnoman56 how do you get terminal?

  • i dont get what the point of it is

  • super docker is the best app in the world. it basically does what terminal codes can do, but in easier terms.

    it's great.

the only thing that doesn't work is changing the login window...

which didn't work with terminal in the first place.

  • how do you make terminal transparent? that looks so cool.

and, another thing, how did u make the mouse make a ring everytime you clicked?

I have the new MacBook, and I wanna customize it.

  • to customize OSX, here are a couple applications that I found useful. candybar is an easy way to change your icons and dock. Deeper unlocks hidden features of OSX. super docker is free and allows you to change the appearance of the dock. As for the translucent terminal, open terminal then go to shell/new window/home brew or open it, then terminal/preferences/settings.

  • thats only on screen cap

  • you have a shit load of apps in your dock. damn

  • Thanks, this really helped me a lot :D

  • i can't really see the screen, do u have this writen anywhere?

  • sorry, i kinda intended for you to listen to what i told you to type. if you have any questions about what i said, please ask. :)

  • its okay.

  • @Dnoman56 is it only for mac ?

  • just realized that =P
