Electronic Voice Phenomenon - E.V.P

Just to add to my previous comment, this voice started after we purchased two used arm chairs. They had belonged to an elderly couple you had recently died and the person who inherited the house was getting rid of all the stuff. Everything in the house was from the 1960s and the man was a retired military officer. The voice is definitely a man. It seems to happen on days that a guest visits our house and sits in the chair. This all sounds crazy but there must be an explanation.

We've been having this happen repeatedly, however it occurs when the device is turned off and apparently has no power source. Sounds crazy but three different people have heard an electronic sounding voice of a man screaming and it comes from the computer speakers about a minute or two after it has been turned off!! I didn't believe it until I heard it myself. Any idea what could cause this? It appears to be speaking English but we can't really figure out what its saying.

Most apparently, it's just random noises and voices from other signals that are floating about, randomly picked up, randomly mashed together. Whether "we are alone" or not is nothing for me to judge, but I don't feel lke EVP is really proof of that. Won't deny that it's really fun, though.

Regardless of the validity or not of EVP,

research of the afterlife, of the dead, of ghosts, must begin with microorganisms (and super-advanced physics, and, hence, math). If humans have ghosts, then logically consistently all living organisms must have them.

the strange thing is that these voices sound confused, like they don't know exactly what is going on, what state they really are. They sometimes even think that the voices of the people that conduct the evp's are strange, like we are the ghosts for them, not the other way around. I don't know what is going on on these realms, but it' s creepy...Is there no salvation for these poor souls?

I don't think its a case of salvation, its the same confusion we experience in our waking lives as well as our dreams and just illustrates how typically confused we are even when we have bodies.

Once mankind lets go of its prejudice and fears we will become more lucid in life as well as dreams - this will serve us well after death when we enter subtler realms where the subconscious defines reality rather than matter.

Its not creepy, just a wonderful part of being human.

@twangeste because they are like a cult. The paranormal research field is cultic and in need of a reformation. It needs to be reformed from the inside out. One day a researcher will come along and he/she will change things. Till then we are dealing with people who are convinced they are speaking to and recording response from the dead. Just my opinion

It's called pareidolia and priming. Try listening to EVP without someone having told you what you were looking for, and 99% of the time you will either not hear anything weird or it will sound like something else (not what it's supposed to say). Simply look up "misheard lyrics" and you'll see tons of examples of this same type of thing.
