  • this takes no skill.... i dont see the point... these arent even wild horses

  • This is animal abuse

  • Animals are not killed in rodeo events as entertainment. There is no such event as "kill the livestock for fun". U treehuggers need to do the world a favor and kill yourself

  • @mattfink54, in a word, bullshit. Steer Busting? Kill that steer, yippeee-yahoo! The "fun" in this idiotic event is seeing who gets hurt the worst. Wow, what an ideal to live up to. Disgusting.

  • Stupid, useless, cruel. That's rodeo. Ever heard of Monty Roberts? Yeah, I didn't think so. Time to ban this event, invented by drunks.

  • I started crying there being so cruel. And hurting them and there choking them I hate those people I wish I could just go up and punch then in the face.

  • I can not wait to ride in it this summer

  • @zachhenrichs do you know how stupid these people look?

  • This is an awsome sport

  • If i did this i would have A had a heart attack or B shit my pants or C pissed my pants

  • That said, I love all animals and I believe regulations should be put in place or tightened, especially in events that see a number of deaths/injuries animal OR human. Anyway, there are some aspects of rodeo I enjoy, and some I can't, and I am speaking as a horse and livestock owner.

  • Well the truth is there is an excess of horses, young and old, that end up in slaughter houses for no other reason than they are overpopulated. Rodeo owned horses on the other hand, live pretty cushy lives off-season just sitting around fat and happy in a pasture, in exchange for a few hours of "performance" in which they get to cut loose and let humans know what they really think of them by a little bucking ;) If I where a horse I'd rather be a rodeo one than most other options.

  • hehe I love this sport! So fun to watch! Let horses be horses and let them go crazy!

  • @bridlelessgirl horses do this when they aren't handled properly.

  • CRUEL CRUEL CRUEL. These creatures are meant to be untouched by the cruelty of the White Man. I as a white american, raised by Native American culture and ways has showed the cruelty that the white man has brought onto Mustangs. It is unfair that the white man takes forgranted of what the Great Spirit has allowed to be preserved onto our wild lands. Respect wild horses, because once they are all gone by the fault of the white americans, everyone will be sorry.

  • @number3never4 you dont know what your talking about sorry!! these horses are not real wild mustangos they are raised by a contractor who has them on acres of land. they stay out htere untill they are about 3ish and then brough into the rodeos so dont you worry about your BLM mustangs, they are never built like this!!

  • @bridlelessgirl as a matter of fact natural selection in the wild horses has created a superior animal .that's how they survive.

  • Ok, I'm going to sum up what I just saw. Well looks like a bunch of country-know-nothings take a rope, jerk a (supposed to be free) mustang's head around until it falls down, even if it doesn't fall down they hunk a heavy saddle (that wild horses aren't used to) on the horse's back and it runs for dear life... sounds like fun! NOT! >:( I'd like to speak to these insane people.

  • @BrightyHazelEyes speak on........ ! lets see just how dumb you are.

  • @BrightyHazelEyes TRUE THAT

  • You are one stupid son of a bitch to endorse such violent shit, I will see you in hell mother fucker

  • LMAO!

What the hell do you liberal pussies know about anything that has to do with wild horse racing? You know that a horse is being traumatized? How the hell do you know what a horse is thinking? In the real world where REAL people live and WORK for a living. People's sensitivities take a backseat to the task at hand, and this sport is a reflection of how wild horses were caught and tamed. Listen...get you ass to starbucks, read newsweek, watch CNN and stay the hell out of the rodeo!

  • Stress can be determine by changes in normal behaviour, respiration rate, heart rate, body temperature, hormone levels (such as cortisol and adrenalin) etc. There are many ways to tell if an animal is stressed. I wouldn't label this a 'sport', more an entertainment that brings in good money to the rodeo scene. This is not a reflection on how wild horses are caught and tamed, these horses are useless after the race and so are used for meat (which is at least a productive means to an end).

  • Tbh, Your Name Livens Up To You.

    KILLER :/

Sport or not, Traditional or not, there is absolutely no fair excuse to terrorise these poor wild animals who have never experienced riding, to be brought out roughly into an arena full of screaming, cheering and shouting!

And THEN shoving weight onto its back and forcing it to gallop across a finish line.

    NO EXCUSE.

  • @22flexkiller this is how they used to tame wild horses. today we have a better way. wake up and smell the new century. all to happy to stay out of rodeo and your cruelty.

  • Ignorance is bliss....

People who think this is entertainment are sick in the head.

Have you ever been to the Vold's place and seen the animals for yourself ,highly unlikely...

    This is simply animal abuse.

  • matter of fact I have. Harry and I have become very good friends over the years. He makes his living with these horses and they are very well cared for. Animal abuse is making a dog or cat live in a house or in a confined area. (Not letting them run at will) If you don't own at least 100 acres you should not own a pet.

  • You know, if you don't like it, don't watch it. This is a way of celebrating the "wild west". As someone who has trained and ridden "wild horses" these beast have it easy. It's the riders that get hurt, and for a sport. As in any sport, contestants get hurt. What about steeple chase? Dog racing? Football? Basketball? I've been more injured in a basketball game than I ever was riding/training wild horses...And I've been around the block and never seen one injured or killed.

  • whoever enjoys watching this can go burn in hell

  • hunterjumper, I'll promise you there are a heck of alot more horses injured jumping than in wild horse racing.

  • most horses enjoy jumping and galloping. NO horses enjoy getting their heads pulled off and flipping on their backs.

geet your facts straight, buddy :P

  • if most horses enjoy jumping how come is it that they must be trained to do so. If they enjoyed jumping so much why don't my horses jump the fences in my pasture and be where they want to be not where I want them to be.

As far as my facts I have them plenty straight. Harry Vold owns all the horses that come to Cheyenne. They are raised in large pastures and when they come to Cheyenne it is the first time that they ever have been rounded up let alone have seen a more than 1 or 2 ppl at one..

  • cont.....time. They are all future bucking horses. I promise you the last thing that are done to these hoses is to beat on them. If there is such a thing as reincarnation I hope I do come back as one of these horses. Get all I want to eat work a total of about 3 minutes a year.

  • I agree, and I ride English.

  • @hunterjumper526 looks like ill see ya there buddy!

  • wow everyone who has something negative to say really needs to know there shit! These horses get treated better then most horses ever dream of!

  • As an active participant in wild horse racing for the past five years, I would assume I would know more about it than all you people who don't get the facts. First off, that horse is stronger than two men. Second, they are larger, and more capable of causing injury. 99% of injuries in WHR happen to the human contestants. And finally, those horses do get treated better than most humans. Basically, they never have to work more than 10 minutes a day, and only for up to 5 months.

  • These horses do notget treated good!! When then kickand hit them and brakethem down ti the ground, and thenride them!? And they are gonna live with that for 5 months!!!

    rodeo sucks...

  • You don't know what the HELL you are talking about!

  • wooow...obviously you like animal cruelty.

they BEAT young horses to make them actllike this...

when you die i hope u are reincarnated into one of these horses and get to know what its like

  • wild horse races are cruel. Thats just my opinion and thats all im going to say.

  • i'm with you!

  • ahahahaha

  • these cowboys are idiots!

  • i actually went to one of these things in cheyenne last week and its pretty scary :(

  • i was waching the horse race on the other stands an a guy fell of the horse and into a rail and u cood see his leg broke in 2 it was sick

  • i do not like horse races becuse it can kill them

  • This is disgusting, wtf is it with America letting this be legal!?

  • racehorse93 I see your into jumping horses. Do you know that isn't a natural thing for a horse to do. You can only make a horse jump by training it to. This is the reason there are so many injuries to jumping horse. Fact is I am a Horse vet and I see more injuries in jumping equine than any other horse event. Jumping horses backs go out hips and nervicular. I'm not saying what your doing is bad it is what you enjoy. I just want you to get off your high horse just a bit.

  • @bm4nu I feel if you're a vet you should know it's spelled navicular.

  • @bm4nu

Bullshit. ShowJumping is about the safest event in Equestrian events. I regularly have to raise the fence about to 6 feet because my [untrained] 2 year-olds will continously jump out. Like you'd know anything about horses. If these 'wild horses' loved their jobs so much why do they refuse contact with people? Or Bucking horses for instance, they need a flank strap to perform their job. So its not natural at all if your forcing them to do it.

  • @queenluciaa first off your telling me that you can go get on any jumper break him to ride and set up some jumps and just go to jumping? Second, if anyone tells you they know all about horses they are kidding themselves. I learn something every day but, I only own 60 mares a couple of studs and about 30 broke geldings.

All of the horses used in the wild horse race in Cheyenne are mostly 3 year olds that come off Harry Vold's ranch in Colorado that have never been handled. This was how con't

  • @queenluciaa horses were broke back in the day.

  • @bm4nu i am a vet student also and i agree jumiping is harmful. some horses do have a knack for it. my yearling filly is just that kind. she was jumping fences nearly as tall as her and the adults wouldn't even try.

  • @bm4nu , how about deaths, "Dr." And learn to spell navicular, if indeed you ARE a vet. Maybe you should read up on horses. They are domesticated, remember? This is among the worst of the rodeo abuse events. NO reason for it, except people get off on beating animals up. Disgusting.

  • @bm4nu, you are such an idiot.. Scary shit. Horses, some, are natural born jumpers, turn them out in a field, they'll jump out. Since you are clearly NOT a vet, perhaps you should go back to school.

  • sorry been a little busy and haven't been on you tube for awhile but, I see that you have too much time on your hands and have been trolling around. You must be a grammer teacher? when I have posted my thoughts on here I don't proof read much. I can spell navicular. Speaking of which I have to put another jumper that has developed it down today. That makes 7 for this year. To bad they don't get a slaughter plant opened up so these people could get some salvage out of their animals.

  • @bm4nu, well golly gee whiz, the man can spell! Grammar. btw. I assume you aren't a rodeo vet. Vets are not much needed there anyway. Jumpers will jump, of their own free will. These horses? Have NO future, at all. At least jumper riders care enough to euth. Rodeo? Slaughter 'em, man, they taste good anyway. That a VET can watch this, and not see abuse, says a LOT about your profession. Who ever pays the most, right?

  • ARE YOU CRAZY? lets do that to you!

  • Awesome dude!

  • Who cares how some one trains a horse, as long as it gets trained! DOn't get washed up in all the weird trainers out there trying to make money. Wild Horse Races ROCK!!!! its an annual thing here in the western states.

  • you bet buddy i a agree with you, ive been around it my whole life, these stuck up some bitches dont know shit

  • @cowboyberry05 you abusers always name call people who don't like animal cruelty.

  • Who cares how some one trains a horse, as long as it gets trained! DOn't get washed up in all the weird trainers out there trying to make money. Wild Horse Races ROCK!!!! its an annual thing here in the western states.

  • actually, i have rescued and trained many horses from slaughter, many of them have been rodeo horses who either from ingury, or mental trauma have been unwanted in someway or another. so pfft please. not touched a horse, ive saved many. i dont disagree with all rodeo events. just the ones that are like this. for future reference, what do you think these horses would ever be like to saddle again? easy, possible?, nope, not worth it, send em to slaughter.

  • your gay ass response should be slaughtered. these horses are never abused or mistreated. they are treated better than most people treat there kids. im telling you this from experience i am a wild horse racer and coe from a long line of whr's. animals in rodeo are treated better than other animals. 99% of horses are used in other sanctioned events in the rodeo curciut. you should really get ur facts straight next itme you open your mouth

  • It is a fact that wild horses end up at rodeo because they are government throw-aways and are treated as such. If you do indeed come from a long line of wild horse riders, shouldn't you know fact from fiction?

  • Where are you getting your information? Your sources are flawed. These horses are not throw aways, they are owned, cared for and feed by stock contractors. Without these contractors and the care they provide, these horses would surely starve to death. Horses in the US and world wide are highly over populated. Would your tree huggin ass like to take on the resposibility of careing for hundreds of thousands of horses? if so... go for it and see how long you can do it stupid.

  • you dont fucking own feed and care for these horses and then scare the livibg shit out of it! you who love this sport are animal abusers and that is all i have to say about that! i'd love to put a rope around your head and drag you through the mud until you have a heart attack!

  • @wildmanamal if your breeding operations would stop treating them like expendable army pawns the slaughter wouldn't happen. money-money-money.

  • i hate wild horse races

  • then dont watch them

  • i ride saddle bronc and do wild horse racing and you should get our facts straight these horses are not throw aways they are 2 or 3 year olds that have not been bucked out yet and are owned by the stock contracter.. they are also treated just as good as any horse is by its owner and when it comes to stock contractors even better usually because they make their living off these horse and some of them are worth 10 000 dollars

  • Thats even worse then cos at 2-3 year olds their skeleton and limbs have not fully developed. Well done for telling everyone! :)

COS MOST RODEOS ARE FUCKING CRUEL AND AS FAR I SEE IT CHEYENNE IS CRUELTY OKAY!?

  • @AnimalAidz at 2-3 years most people start training and breaking horses to ride for liesure. its no different. theses animals that are owned by stock contractors are treated way better that most people treat thier own private owned horses or even thier kids.

  • @RileysGirl why dont you just get ur damn facts straight........ as wildmanamal said they are not throw aways. stock contractors breed them just like bulls. i dont see anybody using reference to bulls. there are alot more injuries in many different events in the rodeo where people get hurt and thier animals get hurt just as bad... before you cast your rocks make sure to get out of your glass bubble first

  • @evrednekchic, my "glass bubble" shattered forty years ago. I grew up in rodeo and I do know first hand that throw away Mustangs exist apart from the stock contractor business. I know where they come from and ultimately where many end up. I am "casting" facts, dear, not stones.

  • @evrednekchic

Another flaw in the everlasting cess pool of problems in Rodeo. They breed horses in bulk, for quantity not quality. When animals get injured they are most likely sent to slaughter. 100s of rodeo horses are sent to slaughter evey week due to infertility, or injuries.

  • @queenluciaa really, Where can you send a horse to slaughter???? If there was a place there wouldn't be so many unwanted horses and would be no need for horse rescue. On a second thought what is the difference between eating horse meat of beef? I have ate horse before and can tell you it is very good.

  • @bm4nu

Cattle is bred specifically for human consumption, not horses. Horses have helped evolution, and the survival of humans for thousands of years. I can obviously tell your compassion toward them since you've ate one before. I will never in my life it a horses flesh. Horses are the most compassionate animals god created, and you don't care. Disgusting.

  • @queenluciaa Horses are compassinate? guess I never seen one cry. Horses only want to be by a person because (I dont care what method you train them) they veiw a person as their leader. I like horses, I like cattle. That don't make them pets. Dogs and cats are pets. You said it in your last post that horses helped evolution. I don't disagree but, a horse is really a tool. I use them to run my ranch. I use them in rodeo and when I have them just right I sell them for a very good price

  • @bm4nu

Livestock aren't tools. Their living, breathing, souls. Horses like all non-predatory animals can grow an affection to their 'leader' as you call it. Horse and man ave been a partnership for centuries, and you act like they hardly did anything. You don't deserve your horses if you treat them as tools. If they weren't compassionate why did the brilliant racehorse Secretariat who was a very docile stallion have a 22 lb. heart? 22 pds more than you will ever have.

  • @queenluciaa wow, horses to me are like tractors and atv's to a farmer. they have more of a purpose than to stand in a stable/corral/pasture doing nothing. I need horses to move my cattle, to doctor my cattle, and to check on my cattle. Call me heatless if you will but, sometimes the reality of life is hard at times. If you want to call your horse a pet go ahead. I do know the value of what a horse has done for centuries. without them I couldn't operate my ranch

  • @bm4nu when you are kind to any animal they will allow you into their world. i have seen a dog cry as his master yelled obscenities at a different family member. i have also seen horses cry when separated from their friends. i saw a horse cry after the farrier said the horse was pretty fat. animals really do have feelings. if i made fun of my dog, he would bark till i got a headache!!

  • @bm4nu if you like eating an animal that has untold drugs in its system from regular care. the good book says eat the animal that has cloven hoof and chews the cud. horses don't do either.

  • you are retarded!

  • @evrednekchic Then, uh, why have horses BEEN HURT from this? Oh a broken leg here and there isn't bad, is it? Pshhh. Be quiet.

  • @BrightyHazelEyes So true. Same with English horse riding and hrose racing. Oh lets throw a rider on a 2 year old fillys back and watch her sprain her ankle and trip under the weight and break her legs, then put her out of her misery. It is wrong and un natural and it is upsetting that people have brough this on. Rodeo's are great, but un natural events and misplacing mustangs into a pen from their natural habbitat is upsetting and sickening.

  • @evrednekchic You are incorrect. Sure the horses are treated "Well", but doesn't anyone stop and think that these mustangs are meant to stay in the wild? I was brough up a white girl by Native American's. I know no other way. The Great Spirit meant for these horses to be preserved. They are being destroyed. The WEST is being destroyed. It is un fair and cruel that we are taking these beautiful creatures from their home and throwing them in a pen and expecting them to win us money. It is wrong

  • people are sick. this is why horese end up in slaughter houses, they are so traumitiezed/scared of humans after these events, that they arent usable again.

  • You are liberal retard, and you watch to much tv and believe too much media. U probably have never touched a horse, let alone ride one!!

  • Who are you to talk about riding? You're the one who has probably never touched a horse! If you know so much about equine then how about adding some videos of YOU riding??

  • I am riding in this one and the st paul video, dipshit....

  • @hdwdcowboy and using the typical coarse language of common cowboys. you defend your abuse with insults.

  • I really hate dumbass people that look like creatures that have nothing to do, other than cause problems for other people...stop in sometime, and we can saddle your big ass too!!

  • @hdwdcowboy love one another.

  • if killers were still 80 cents apound i would have lots less.

  • That's right! I agree with you 100%

  • I really do hate this event. Horses are flight animals, they are scared and all they want to do is get away from the 'creatures' attacking them and get to safety. And they call this a sport. Gives horse people a bad name in my opinion.

  • Also keep in mind, that unbroke horses have very sensitive backs. When some fat "cowboy" jumps up on his back (not even sitting correctly) he is seriously huring the horse. It may not have an open wound, but believe me the animal IS in pain.

  • y should we believe you when you dont know what your talking about?

  • haha you gave me thumbs down because you know I'm right! yeah people when an unbroke horse gets jumped on by these over weight pigs it hurts them! They have very sensitive backs before geting used to holding weight!

  • How come 99% of the 'people' that respond to these in a negative way are girls under 18??? Kayla here gets a kick outta calling real cowboys names, there are wild horse races all over florida for you to enjoy, since you live there...check out the movie Flicka. I am in that one to for you to enjoy!!!!

  • Horse ran into the concrete wall when the outrider roped him and couldnt free him before he hit. Directors fault for pushing the horses too hard. And the other horse stepped in a gofer hole and broke his leg and was euthanized....it doesnt matter if I explain what happened, not like a media loving little girl will believe me.

  • Little girl??? haha And umm media loving??? wow....Well It's great to know that the horses were well looked after. I mean it's not like anyone could have checked for holes. That would be too hard wouldn't it? And the horse just ran it's self into a wall. No ones fault, right?

  • Go get your CSI badge out and figure it out if you are so inclined to do so, nuf said your fight is lost

  • I don't remember this being a fight? Why is it if anyone stands up for what they believe it's called fighting? I believe I can voice what I think without being rude or nasty. It's called debating.

  • @hdwdcowboy we all know horses were killed in the making of the movie. creeps

  • this is so stuid. Who comes up with this stuff. It almost seems like rodeos insist on puting in events that injur and distress animals. Like i said this is VERY stupid.

  • This should be counted as horse abuse!

  • You are an Idiot. why dont you come here to good ol cheyenne and come with me to the ready area and get a first hand veiw of this wonderful sport

  • @hoggel1119 cheyenne is pathetic animal cruelty. get off on it?

  • For all of you Wild horse racing is one of the first sports in rodeo. it is one of the first events at cheyenne frontier days. I was raised around this sport my father did this and my mom owns the rights the to the world championship for wild horse racing.the men and women who race are hurt more than horses are. i have seen a guy whos skull was crushed and anothers finger ripped off on the very track this races is taking place.

  • @hoggel1119 got what he deserved terrorizing animals

  • Barrel racing is not as damaging as wild horse races. You can only force something on a horse once after that you'll have a hell of a time trying to get near it again. Most of the horses fall over backwards, thats dangerous for anyone nearby as well as the horses. If anyone thinks thats not true should not be allowed to handle horses

  • How many horses die from barrel racing a year?? Euthanized from broken legs and torn tendons?? More than any wild horse race year!! Learn your facts about your own event before you shit on someone else's....

  • @BarrelracingQH check out an x-ray of your horses head sometime. bits damage even with light hands. medical fact. upon autopsy there will be found hematomas in the flesh. it also prevents normal digeston leading to ulcers and damages the top bone just behind the poll under forced flexion. besides the behavioral problems. also creates "clonic convulsion" as you've probably seen the strange bobbing of the nose.

  • its a shame that such beautiful, free, and wild animals are being used in rodeos. its pretty sad how the crowd's cheering them on. i pray all the time that rodeos and other animal cruelity events are stopped. but i know that people are too willful to give up their rodeo events and such for animals. its pretty discusting.

  • i agree about calf roping, steer wrestling, and wild horse races, but not all rodeo events such as barrel racing, pole bending, and break-away roping are harmfull.

  • Don't forget single steer roping, formerly known as "steer tripping". Next to calf roping, it produces the most animal injuries and casualties than any other rodeo event.

The abuse is undeniable, yet steer roping is still legal in many places across the country.

  • Why does your name say that if you hate rodeos so much?

  • You kidding me??? More horses DIE from barrel racing than any wild horse race!! You dont ever see them break a leg and get euthanized? Get your facts straight.....

  • Well, barrel racing isn't exactly cruel. In a wild horse race where 3 200 pound men are ripping on your face, I'd call that cruelty. In barrel racing, theres no struggling. And yes, while some horses do break legs and get euthinized, it is not often. (Or at least not where I barrel race... I don't know about you)

  • In wild horse races, horses collapse from the stress and DO get badly injured. It puts the horses and men in unecessary danger. And while barrel racing is still dangerous, Isn't all horse riding?

  • If these horses get so badly injured (of course you would know this because you feel them and talk to them when you watch it on a VIDEO) why do we use the same ones at different rodeos that our association sanctions?? The same ones that will knock you out over and over? Ripping on your face....did you notice 1 man gets a hold of the horse by the halter...1 man holds the rope....one man rides?? YOU ARE BLIND!!!!!

  • Isn't it obvious that they are in distress?! And I'm not saying ALL of them get badly injured EVERY time, but it DOES happen and if you really cared about the animal you wouldn't put it in that situation.

  • If anyone's blind, it's you! Horses thrashing their heads about and kicking are trying to get away and fight the pressure these men are putting on their face, and when it doesn't go away they stress out even more thus causing injury and they also collapse sometimes. While it provides good entertainment, (probably all you care about) This is unnecessary and wrong. Anyone in their right mind wouldn't do this to such a beautifull creature.

  • @hdwdcowboy i love how the horses stand so still when a child falls off. they're amazing babysitters.

  • How do you think horses act wen pepole are trying to break them?

  • A properly trained horse will not freak out when being broke. Horses almost never act like this when being broke, if they are being broken correctly! Meaning gently, paitently, kindly! A real horse person doesn't just "jump on"! They take the time to bond with the horse before acually getting on!

  • This is an event that has been around longer than any other rodeo event in the US. We are not training horses, we are not breaking horses, we are competing on these horses, and competing on these horses means to 'hurry' not sit around and play patty cake with the horse. If you dont understand it, then go watch some cartoon or something that you do understand....

  • oh trust me, I undertsand that you can't train these horses even if you wanted to. The truth is most of you "cowboys" don't have the talent or patience to properly brake horses. You find it much more entertaining to hurt them instead. Correct?

  • @hdwdcowboy we understand cruelty. your sport will be fazed out someday . more and more people are not going to see animals injured and killed as entertainment.

  • @Rodeogal95 my spirited buckskin never bucked an inch upon first saddling. his trainer left the saddle on the corral fence for a week and he wasn't even worried about it when saddled. he only crowhops a little if the tack isn't fitting right.

  • 2005

  • Did yall stay in the cowboy campground?

  • What year I mean

  • When was this

  • i think it is very interesting to watch. they dont hurt their horses in any way. if anything the horses and the people just get a huge adreniline rush!!!!

  • The purpose of this event is NOT to train horses. And those animals are treated better than some people treat their children.

  • Yeah right. I saw Santa ride by on his sleigh last night too. But you don't see me believing that, so why should I believe you? The purpose is to show that stupid cowards are brave.

  • See, I knew you were still a kid! The Santa reference and your toy horses give it away.

  • Who cares if I am a kid or not (by the way - I am a teenager. Shows your level of intelligence)? Regardless of my age I am standing up for animal rights. You don't have to be 20+ to protect animals. I started when I was 8.

  • Maybe I agree with you about riding broncs and bulls...don't call people names it's not nice (even if you are a teenager!) You don't protect animals by calling people pigs. That's not the way to go about it.

  • That is utterly cruel and barbaric. Not the way to break in a horse. At all.

  • NO utterly cruel would be to just send the horses to the kill plant!

  • Well, anyway they are going to get hurt! I would rather have them put down than see them go through this stupid torture. They should send the humans that put innocent horses through this to the slaughter house! I don't care what you idiots have to say - rodeos are a cruel way for cowards to pretend that they are brave. Rodeos are ONLY for undeserving air wasting pigs.

  • uh...I've never been in a rodeo, so how does that make me a pig? I've been to the rodeo when I was a kid twice. Does that make me a pig? Are you a pig too? Is barrel racing inhumane?

  • Did I call you a pig? No, so get your facts straight before making accusations. Do I compete in rodeos? No, so I can't be a pig. I don't even watch the stupid things. Barrel racing isn't inhumane - it is the Wild Horse Races and rodeos (meaning the ones that cows and horses are forced to buck in) that make all forms of rodeos cruel.

  • I have nothing against western forms of riding - these demonstrate how cowboys did it years ago, but trying to ride a wild horse in 5 minutes doesn't demonstrate how they did it. Buck-offs weren't around to prove someone was brave. I play a game called Virtual Horse Ranch and I own lots of horses trained in western (don't even start saying that I am a kid because I play it, even parents and grandparents play). I love western riding.

  • I have nothing against western forms of riding - these demonstrate how cowboys did it years ago, but trying to ride a wild horse in 5 minutes doesn't demonstrate how they did it. Buck-offs weren't around to prove someone was brave. • Hmm...didn't you say, "Shut up you pig," ??? Those are your words, so how can you say you didn't call me a pig?

  • Actually, our own government is condoning torture of prisoners, so we are torturing people, and that's AOK with Cheney and Bush!

  • Evil is what you see in the mirror..

  • those races are evil!

  • I agree!!

  • yeeee haw!

  • Shut up you pig.

  • Why am I a pig? You don't know me! Oh, I see, you still play with toys, you're a kid! Honey, it's not nice to call people pigs. I forgive you because I see you still have a lot of learning to do. Work on your vocabulary words, and maybe you can be more descriptive about how you really feel.

  • If you profess to be such a caring person (about animals) why don't you care about other people? Talk about unethical treatment of humans! I'd say namecalling, and especially calling someone an animal is dehumanizing, and hypocritical if you really like animals

  • I am not a people person. I have never been. I don't care about other people when it comes to protecting animals. My best friend could hurt an animal and I would get very very angry. The president could hurt an animal and I would still explode. Animal feelings first, human feelings second.

  • uh...does this say, "shut up you pig?" Is that your name there? Yes, I believe you did call me a pig. It's in the reply to my yeee haw comment...
