I couldn't care less about the lack of color. What bothers me is the terrible audio quality. My speakers are on high, and I still miss half of what they say. >_>
black and white movies bother me didn't they have color back then and why is nora bragging about her life..oh i have three wonderful children .blah.blah.blah... then she talks about sad trials in her life ,,,then she talks about how shes gone to be rich .. she makes her friend's life sound like crap.. no one cares,...lmoa
Well this doesn't help... I needed the scene between Nora and Linde I thought it could help me memorize... but... they have different lines then the play... oh well
People are retarded. No one's "saving" you from reading. Literacy is a gift, don't be so obnoxious in receiving it. The fact that people pride themselves in not reading is by all accounts, pathetic.
@Charr3169 There's a difference between reading for pleasure and having to read for a degree. I have no interest in this play and think it's relevance to my life is non-existent, unfortunately my professor disagrees. Consequently I need to study it, therefore I'll take the easiest route possible to spend my time studying things i believe are far more useful.
@Charr3169 I feel like I see more and more people today telling me that reading is a bored and useless passing time :(. Too bad there aren't more people who appreciate literature.
its an ironey that you have this episode of hallmark hall of fame only survivng kinescope bw version its strange they wouldnt print the kinescope version in 16 mm kodakchrome sound filmbut they were cheap and yet other episodes like the tempest were preserved
its funny when people say watching a film is better than actually reading it from its roots. i had to read this book for philosophy/ethics class a few years ago and i think i read it one night, amazing play
@calebthegreat08 Does this mean that I'm the only one that likes to read and watch the play? I mean, is it bad that I enjoy going through both versions of the play? I can't help but be curious.
@dream2frickin0much im watching and reading the play at the same time while taking serious note. I have to do a 5 minute presentation on this -___________-
btw im using the responding to lit 5th edition book. Im doing this for my English 200 class
