  • hahaha he said 1 2 3 not to much cuz it well burn my ass jajaja an its true cuz it happen to me once lol good video bro......

  • i love spring rolls soo much omfg. thanks :)

  • Wait... What fucking year is it?

  • @donaldn93 Oh ...What He said Buddha Born From The day born to Now ! Back to Food ....All I know is Very delicious and Loves it !

  • Thank you for sharing your expertise. I will try this soon.

  • You should have more protein that three half slices of shrimp, just sayin'.

Also use red or yellow bell peppers for some color contrast. Mint has a brighter flavor than parsley. Chop or tear the lettuce so you get a tighter roll. Julienne your vegetables for a tighter roll as well. Vietnamese rolls need to be tighter or the contents will fall out when you take a bite.

  • at 3:34 you mean cilantro not parsley?

  • Why does it matter whats right or wrong with the dish, it is amazing and thats all that matters

  • i appreciate the video, but his rolling skills is all wrong. if you fold the vertical sides inwards first, then roll the horizontal side upwards and away from your body, you get a tighter roll. and also because some people do not like garlic chives, you can insert the garlic chives after rolling it halfway so that it can be removed

  • Nice video. A co worker made these for a pot luck and I was wondering how to do it. It doesn't look too complex. Although I think she used cilantro instead of parsley. I like the looks of the sauce too.

  • very nice

  • These look completely different from the Spring Rolls I was looking for. maybe because im mexican and ill i know about spring rolls are the ones they sell at the chinese buffets. Ill try these! good cheff funnny and entertaining!

  • @yazlinne50 No, those are Chinese spring rolls, which are just a vegetarian version of egg rolls. These are Vietnamese spring rolls. Yeah, it's confusing :P

  • @TasteLikeSushi Ohhhh Okay! Now i know =) thanks!

  • @yazlinne50 this video isnt for spring rolls. there are two types of main rolls in vietnam. this video is for "summer rolls" . spring rolls are rolls that are fried and it uses a different type of wrap. the ones you get at chinese restuarants are eggrolls. they use different filling and different type of wraps as well. vietnamese rolls taste differnt from chinese rolls. hope that cleared things up for you

  • no, it is not shame... it is the same area of the world and it is normal they have similar dishes ... specially when for centuries some of these countries have been one. It happens in Europe too. What many of you call it French it has been the same or very similar dish for centuries. Example" French toast, custard, almond deserts etc... it is SPANISH origen and originally came from the arabs who took it to spain. And since Italy WAS NOT ITALY AS A COUNTRY until 1800's it is normal to think

  • I burn my ass Hahaha

  • I deep fry mine.

  • omg you know Lao, Thai, Viet, Chinese etc so much! You're amazing!

  • Christ for life! Whoop whoop!!

  • Does anyone know a way to stop the rolls from sticking together?! Whenever I pack them for lunch, they just rip and completely fall apart.

  • This is originally from Vietnam which we call "goi cuon" or summer rolls. We can either serve it with hoisin sauce or mixed fish sauce

  • at the restaurant I went to they served the spring rolls with hoisin sauce and crushed cashews on top as the dip. It was yummmyyyy :)

  • Could you do a video and make the sweet ginger/peanut sauce which is normally served here in the US with the spring rolls we often order in the restaurants.

  • Could you do a video and make the sweet ginger/peanut sauce which is normally served here in the US with the spring rolls we often order in the restaurants. Also I had thinly sliced cucumber's in a sweet vinegar , they were awesome. I had this as an appetizer in Chicago, the sauce was clear and looked like water. The sauce on the cucumbers was a little spicy but not hot but definately sweet. They were amazing and I've never had those again. I would love the recipe! Any clue how to make those?

  • ahahah might burn my ass funny man

  • the first time i see a white spring roll skin!!!!

  • I thought that it was a lot harder than that to make a decent spring roll. Fortunately, I was wrong. My friend's mom makes those for special occasions and they're amazing. She makes a different sauce that tastes really good. When my friend's mom makes them she usually uses a different type of warper and puts about the same amount of food into it. She puts the noodles, either mint or lettuce and either chicken or beef. Then she makes the sauce that makes the taste even better.

  • forgot noodles

  • well we call it summer rolls here :)

  • this*

  • his guy knows what he's talking about.

  • เข้าใจใช้คำว่า Asian ครับ

    เพราะ มีในหลายประเทศ

    จะได้ไม่ต้องทะเลาะกันว่าของประเทศอะไร

    อย่างนี้ต้องกด Like XD

  • @LMsquarez

     Boy, you Said it!

  • are you viet to? xD

  • great video Kai =) spring rolls is one of my favorite food ever!!

  • Best line ever. "Can't be too hot...might burn my ass." XD Lol

  • you counted those chilli peppers in 3 different languages. Chinese Laos and Viet.

  • FYI: In all of the videos I've seen by him, he's using cilantro but calling it "parsley". The food will taste better if using cilantro instead of parsley. Trust me...I'm Asian :D

  • Awesome you answered a question I had with this video... I LOVE YOUR SHOW YOUR VIDEOS ARE SPECTACULAR the quality is the best are you a professional videographer? I would hire you in a heartbeat

  • FRESH SPRING ROLLS or SUMMER ROLLS

ARE ORIGINALLY VIETNAMESE DISH / RECIPES

    OTHER COUNTRIES ARE ONLY COPIES

  • at first i thought the spring roll skin was a plastic skin

  • I like cooking thin rice noodle into a spicy Satay sauce (what i use for Hot pot) until noodle absorb all flavor and left to dry. I add that into spring roll. So good!

  • fresh spring rolls are originally Vietnamese

other countries version are just copies

  • Spring roll is Vietnamese dish. Other countries are only copies

  • Fresh Spring roll or summer roll is a traditional Vietnamese food / recipe

  • you are the funniest vietnamese man (:

  • WOO HOO, JESUS!

Did you count in 3 different languages? I can only recognize the Lao counting and one has to be a dialect from China.

  • I like peanut sauce more, but the fish sauce is good too, although my mom usually makes it with peanut sauce. Btw I'm half viet half chinese.

  • I personally prefer the fish sauce, however if you go to any vietnamese restaurants in US they would serve spring roll with a sauce mix between hoisin sauce and peanut butter.

  • yummy.. =)

  • yummy.. =)

  • you are funny!!!

  • I don't think its was very necessary for you to had mention the Asian New year date of 2554 IF you were going to disrespect it! You should had just kept cooking and not joke around because YOU JUST LOST A LOYAL VIEWER!

  • @TheMainess how could you be offended by what he said?...what DID he say that was so offensive to you? Some people are just so ridiculous..

  • @dawg1157 Can't i have my own opinion..... gezzz, It's not like i was attacking the Christian calendar!

  • @TheMainess i was asking you a legitimate question....but go ahead and overreact I guess

  • @dawg1157 your the shit head that was over reacting in the first place... don't put the blame on others.

  • @TheMainess he wasnt disrespecting at all. he was probably stating it for viewers that do go by the asian new year. he didnt mean it as offensive

  • @TheMainess What in the world are you going on about? Disrespect it...? He doesn't believe in a particular religion, but mentioned its calendar anyways for those who are interested. What's the big deal with that?

  • @TheMainess Lost a viewer, gained 50 more. BITCH!
