  • If Eisner would have left in the mid-90s things would have turned out so much better.

  • You guys say that Michael Eisner is the devil and well that could be true, Jeffery Katzenburg is also kind of a deuche. Now sure while he was in charge, Disney produced it's best like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King, but that was out of the animators fighting with him. Think of it as negative encouragement. For example, Katzenburg was going to cut the song "Part of your world" out of the Little Mermaid.

  • @joe88john That's the point Eisner put Disney at an all time high and then drove into the ground.

  • @Costerguy1234556

I was complainning about Katzenburg who was Eisener's right hand man. I know Eisner is a deuche, I even said "that could be true".

  • this was wonderful. except the evil queen. she looked stupid.

i want this kind of Disney back just saying. at least the parks are still good.

  • Got to 1:22 before I'd cry if I'd watch any more :')

  • people dont give michael eisner enough credit. he brought disney back to life in the 80s-90s. he was a great assest to the walt disney company. just because he didnt want to hire jeff katzenberg as president and when jeff made a big deal about it he basically asked him to resign, doesnt discredit him for all the great stuff he did for the company. maybe he shouldnt have asked katzenberg to resign, but that was his decision.

  • Lol i loved it when mickey screamed

  • i'm glad Walt Disney's not alive to see how everything associated with him is losing its charm :(

  • @Lightner445555555555 You can blame the Disney Channel for that. The movies (animated movies at least, Pixar and all) still have that charm in them. It's their television arm that's been going down the drain, and it unfortunately gave anything associated with Disney a bad name.

  • @laytonanimedisney 1991. Beauty & the Beast was being promoted here.

  • WTF? They had a few cartoons to come in yet practically everyone else are just people in costumes?

    PS: Neil Patrick Harris FTW.

  • The golden anniversary? Wasn't that in 1973, BEFORE The Little Mermaid and the creation of Touchstone (and its films Splash and Who Framed Roger Rabbit)? Or is this just the golden anniversary of when they started the show that was eventually called The Wonderful World of Disney?

  • Haha 3:45 Neil Patrick Harris xD

  • where are the brooms arms?????????

  • What can scare the Devil so much?Michael Eisner

  • Eisner was an utter fool when the early 2000s arrived. I used to think he was a great guy in the 90s, but when he thought about separating Disney from Pixar, THAT seriously PISSED me off!!

Roy E. Disney was right about him. Eisner's replacement Bob Iger IS now the guy I trust under Disney! He seems to know what to do!

  • @twist58: First of all Roy Disney did trust Eisner. Eisner's downfall was when Frank Wells died. Frank Wells was the glue that held everyone together. After his death, Eisner, let the power go to his head. Iger is no better. He's allowing Disney to still marketing those little whores on the Disney Channel. That is totally the wrong message to send to children. The studio won't be in good hands until someone understand how to blend the moral values from the past with today's technology.

  • @LadySpellcaster. That's not entirely accurate. True, Roy did trust Eisner from the start and even when Frank Wells died, it was bad on Eisner's reputation. But it did go further downhill when Eisner thought up separating Pixar permanently from Disney as well as leading the company toward a "different direction." Roy stated that Eisner was mismanaging the company altogether, rendering it to become like a "soul-less" conglomerate, which Disney was NOT all about. Iger is NOW the man!

  • the thumbnail pic made me thought mickey was getting a blowjob o_e

  • I'm not going into the politics of Disney but, does Eisner seem somewhat sleazey to anyone else?

  • @AlanSmithySculptor: He used to be alright. That's why Roy Disney backed him. The problem was he let the power inflate his ego and it got out of control. The real sleaze was Jeffery Katzenberg. He whined and complained cause he didn't get a promotion immediately after Frank Wells died. Talk about disrespectful.

  • @LadySpellcaster. Isn't it rather ironic that Dreamworks began to flourish by a fired Disney employee?

  • @twist58 yep. Jeff Katzenberg had a dispute with Eisner and left in 95. Joined forces with Speilberg and Dave Giffen and the rest was history.

  • The weird thing is, disney is masonic. But they work is just masterpiece

  • The devil bows to Disney, wow

  • Thanks 4 uploading, very informative

  • EVERYONE STOP WATCHING DISNEY THEY ARE ILLUMINATI

  • @DESIBADBOYS New disney: likely. Old disney: probably not.

  • @DESIBADBOYS no, Disney Channel is

  • man, if this is screening at disney, i want to go!

  • So Satan himself bows down to Michael Eisner. It all makes sense now.

  • NPH???!!! When was this made???

  • It's interesting how this piece showed so many things about how the Walt Disney Company started to grow after the long absents of Walt Disney. Of course, this was the beginning of the new corporate Disney that would change so much both good and bad. It will be interesting to see where Disney will be in 20 years.

  • OH MAH GAD NPH IS SO ADORABLY YOUNG AHA

  • the watches part was worth it!

and what the hell is NPH doing there?

  • NPH OMG !!!!!

  • NPH LOL!

  • 3.45 N.P.H FTW

  • 3:04 f****** terrifying

3:12 funniest thing i have ever seen

  • Mickey's so cute in this video, he just looks like the kinda guy you just wanna cuddle with all day. XD

I love Mickey so much, he's number four in my most favorite cartoon characters. -3

  • @MrJCHyena There is a girl in my school that says Mickey Mouse is "so cute she just wants to hug him".

  • 3:06! Mickey's face!!!!! LOL!!!!!!

  • 3:09! Mickey's face!!!!! LOL!!!!!!

  • Let's see here... Here we go! Brian! See you at Disney Land! Bring money.

  • 1:48 RUN, MICKEY, RUN

  • 3:00 is that Michael J. Fox?

  • @CarlosJulio20 no sorry to dissapoint you

  • @14lanicup I meant more like 2:59, but how are you sure?

  • @CarlosJulio20 because iv'e seen teen wolf and all 3 back to the future movies and i know his face and thats not his

  • Micky Mouse is awesome.

  • DAAAAAAMN! Barbara Walters and Neil Patrick Harris look so YOUNG! Lmao@the Fantasia demon. Disney was seriously great back on the day.

Don't even get me started on how it is now!

  • I love Mickey's watch, haha.

"Good heaven's would you look at that: time to sell-out again! Huh-HUH!"

  • Satan is Michael Eisner's bitch...

  • Hey, when was this shown? I know it must be after Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but what year?

  • i want that michael eisner watch!!!!

  • 0:32 - 0:37 Best use of Jiminy right there!

  • (3:06) Mickey's like "HOLY SH*T!"

  • 3:45 nph wouldnt do that.

  • What's scarier than the Devil? Michael Eisner

  • Why?

  • Hahaha mickeys face at 3:05

  • LOL classic. Love the demon!

  • I read this on Wikipedia. Wow.

  • the eric bischoff of disney

  • Even Satan fears Michael Eisner

  • Michael Eisner revived Disney back in the 90's, too bad he turned into such a dick before he left there.

  • @mattjnor98 Blame it on the fact that his Partner and President of The Walt Disney Company Frank Wells died in a Helicopter Crash while returning from Skiing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in 1994.

  • Just proof that Eisner is worse than the Devil!

  • Mickey's scream at 3:05 = LMAO! XD

  • LOOK HOW YOUNG NEIL PATRICK HARRIS IS!

    MY MIND IS BLOWN.

  • That was awsome and actually hilarious for me! Idk y

  • Could someone kindly tell me what makes Eisner bad for Disney? I'm a Disney fan and I feel like I'm missing out on something important by not knowing...

  • @wizardwarrior713 i'm also confused. Wasnt this guy running Disney during the renaissance.

  • @wizardwarrior713 He was micromanaging the magic right out of Disney, and turning it into a big, evil, souless corporation. Not to mention that he was the one that started the idea of direct-to-video Disney sequels. Plus, Disney movies were just getting worse and worse under him as time went on.

  • @Thoralmir: Intially, Roy Disney trusted Eisner and the Disney Renaissance flourished under him till he let the power corrupt him. Iger is the one keeping a soulless and greedy corporation. There were more layoffs ever since he took power and there is no balance in the payroll. He makes more than he deserves while cast members struggle to make ends meat. How do I know, cause I interned there and saw how the dedicated full-timers were treated.

  • Mickey is so cute! So loveable

  • This is one of my favorite TV memories. Thanks for posting it!

  • HHAHA!! Mickey's face at 3:06

  • you had me at mickey mouse

  • Chernabog OWNS Mickey in fear! 3:06

  • Wow I've never seen this! This is really funny!

  • haha i love how everyone kind of dances down the hall to the screening, esp. the two people on the right around 2:49 xD

  • WHY DON'T THEY MAKE THESE SPECIALS ANYMORE?!

  • @trollheimer Because the Walt Disney company that had a heart and soul...is dead.

  • 2:27 lol Roger Rabbit's such a spaz, I love it

  • I have this on VHS!!

  • @abacer86

How did you get the VHS?? I recorded this when it aired and accidentally recorded over part of it. There are missing parts to this member's video clips of the program. Could you tell me the official name of the VHS tape and how I can get a copy, please? This was my all-time favorite made-for-TV Disney special. I practically memorized the entire program! It was wonderful.

  • @jumpin80s11 It's not actually on VHS -- I don't know how this uploader got such a great quality version -- by the time I converted my VHS recorded copy (full of awesome 90s commercials and everything) it was practically falling apart. Trust me, I definitely looked for it!

  • Eisner's not evil, he just has more power against the devil itself.

  • chernabog ftw!

  • does michael eisner say screaming or screening?

  • DISNEY!!!!!! :D: ) IS THE BEST!!! :D :)

  • Wow, Eisner has more power than Mickey :o

  • 3:04 - 3:20

  • Even though I have an intense dislike towards Eisner, I loved his interaction with Mickey in the first part of this video. It was so cute, and I totally loved Mickey's outfit (it's not what he normally wears, but he just looks so goddamn adorable in it <33). xDD I love Mickey Mouse just so much ♥

  • @Danachii Mickey and Minnie still rocks but some Disney Fans hates Eisner

  • Chernabog only talks when he has to.

  • Dude was that REALLY NPH? Golly, he looks so nerdy!

  • @JackandSally4ever yeah that was him, for real

  • @JackandSally4ever OMG, I can't stop laughing! But even as a nerdy type back then he was kind of cute.

  • As much as I hate Eisner, this was really cool.

The animation was fantastic and the interaction with the characters was amazing.

    And. . . . . . . whoa. . . . . . Chernabog speaks!!!

And him being afraid of Eisner, eh, I don't blame him.

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • eisner kinda seems like an ass

mickey is cute in this =3

  • Eisner can go to hell. Nuff said.

  • Eisner is a swearword in my house.

  • Yeah, that's right, even the DEVIL is afraid of Mike Eisner!

  • Chernabog is his name. :)

  • The intro gave me goosebumps :P

  • they gave Mickey a friggin' Eisner watch. im sure after he was finished with this skit, Mickey washed his hands for a few hours, stating that his wrist was still filthy

  • eisner's so evil even churabog's afraid of him

  • Agreed!!

  • @jar0fdirt63 dood, this is Eisner, pre-Frank Well's death. This was when he used to be cool.

  • @trollheimer And when he saved Disneyland from foreclosure. Too bad he turned into such a dick later on.

  • Mike Ovitz : aka "Oil Can Harry"

  • Ah, Disney on the verge of the Renaissance, where anything was possible. Of course we all know what happened, their 2D animated films stopped making money, so they only made CGI films.

    And then came JOHN LASSETTER....

  • That is so fucking random. I think I have to fave it.

  • Eisner hates Hunchback of Notre Dame, right? I wish he didn't. That's the best movie Disney's ever made in my opinion.

  • It's certainly underrated.

  • Poor Roger on 2:52 to 2:59 becuse he had been sat on by a man in red.

  • Yeah, your right....stand up you idiot! I can'T see Roger!

I love this Toon, he's one of the best^^

  • LOL! Mickey in Horror! 3:04

  • Man! Mickey and Michael invited everybody from Disney to come join them for a screening!

  • 3:46

    BARNEY STINSON!!!

  • when did this air?

  • i think it would be in 1973 or something :D

  • I believe it was air sometime in the late 80s or early 90s. Why else would you hear Part of your World from the Little Mermaid?

  • 3:05

    OH MY ****!*@*#*$*((9!

    THat was Scary!

  • Yeah. It scared me,too. lol

  • Aw, Mic's so cute! :)

  • 3:04 CHERNABOG!!!!

  • Haha, sorry Mr. Eisner.

  • what tune is played at the intro of this video?

  • part of your world...

  • hey, thanx! :] yes i now see that it is :]

but its a different version than the movie.... it sounds much better! wonder where u could get it :\

  • when you wish upon a star forn pinocho, plus Part of your world from The little mermaid

  • the music is part of your world wow

  • wow i expected cherna to attack and roger got owned

  • I love how Alice in Wonderland's Caterpillar starts it off, I always felt that Alice in particular was sort of neglected in Disney and Disneyland history, even in the Kingdom Hearts game they dont even us any of the actual music from the film.

  • 3:06 perfect

  • lol that was so funny loved that part. I laughed hard during that sequence.

  • lol...the brooms XD

    "i got the best seat...UUUGHHHH"

    "umm...excuse me...do you min...OOOOOO

  • Funny part about Cherny

  • funny

  • Jiminy Cricket

    Dwarves: Jiminy Crickets

    lol

"I love movies! And I got the best seat! Ahhh!" Love Roger Rabbit. Thanks for uploading. I really encourage that this be kept on because a lot of us can't see this anywhere else and plus, it's free advertising for Disney so there's no excuse to remove this. :)

  • Lol, Chernabog scarred Mickey. I love Chernabog too... i'm such a Disney slut...

  • a what???

  • Fuckin' love Roger Rabbit! Anyways, you can tell this was made in the 80/ early 90s.

Oh, and the CEO that is on here gave the ok for Disney to have a soft porn channel, I dunno if they still have that deal though...

  • They should have censored Dick VanDyck's name.

  • Lol, so true.

  • Why? It's not a bad word if it's a person's name.

    Lighten up.

  • It was a joke:p, you should lighten up :), And yes I didn't make the joke up, family guy already used it.

  • Not a very nice joke if you ask me.

  • it's all seth macfarlane's fault.

i hate his Walt Disney jokes, they're sssooo bad lol

  • the episode in which they get transported to the disney dimension where everyone is drawn like a disney character is so funny. and when they see mort the jew they linch him hahaha i love the humor behind seth.

  • Seems rather odd to me that they did an anniversary special in honor of Disney's Burbank studio rather than the company itself, especially considering some of the clips featured are from pre-1941. Maybe the special should've been titled "75 to 80 Years of Magic"?

Heh, I find it fitting that Chernobog is taking orders from Eisner.

  • Wow, my dad actually recorded this off the TV when it first aired. I still have it! But I'm incredibly impressed it's on Youtube. You have quite the lovely collection of Disney history.

    Bravo!

  • I agree ever sence walt died and they came out with these new pixar movies. The magic just isn't their anymore.. It's sad. =[

  • Eisner thinks hes Walt, yeah right!!

    Walt IS Disney!!!

since Walt died and these pixar films have came out, i think Disney has lost the magic, hopefully the new Princess and the frog movie will bring part of that back :)

  • Yeah, I know how you feel!

  • @disneyanimator

I disagree about Pixar- Pixar is FANTASTIC. It doesn't really have anything to do with Disney apart from distribution.

The Disney original CGI films, on the other hand- rubbish. Terrible.

Pixar has created a magic of it's own, similar to but quite seperate from Disney's own history.

  • what would pixar be without disney? it wouldnt be half of what it is today, the man behind pixar always wanted to work with disney. so its hand in handwork, not just pixar. your an idiot... get to know your history...

  • hand in hand work* (error)

  • The man doesn't make the company. I know John Lassiter has worked for Disney, but the whole essence of Pixar is because of HIM. His mind, his thinking.

I'm very well aware of my history. I hate name-dropping, but the Disney's are literally friends of friends (our family friends are Disney's family friends).

  • You dont know the disneys, but some people that your friends know have met the family. wow thats amazing!!! you are a loser!!! gee whiz!!

  • I feel comfortable in my knowledge that I know them.

    You're just a troll.

  • sorry, you have nothing to validate that. and no credibility whatsoever.

  • I don't have to validate myself to you.

  • doesnt matter, no one would believe you. if they did they are an idiot like you.

  • What difference does it make if ppl believe me or not?

It doesn't effect me in any way whatsoever.

  • ok, fattie. whatever helps you sleep. i have a life unlike you. keep living in lala land. i will be going to class soon. i hope you lose those masses amounts of fattie pockets, whilst i have none. its great being perfect. have a good one.

  • Wow. what a life, so fulfilling you have to go and troll like a 14 year old boy with no friends.

    enjoy your class.

  • I will. Good day, shamu.

  • you just have to be put in your place, even though it would take an earthmover to do so...

  • la la la
