this was very karaoke. also, this song is supposed to be dark because it's about a girl who is fed up and done with an emotionally abusive guy who plays with her heart. it has a dark theme, but vanessa was up there smiling and dancing and trying to get people to clap? it didn't mesh with the theme of the song and she didn't convey the song's message at all. it's fine to have fun, but she wasn't connected to the song. also, it isn't a good song to show off your vocals. it was ok at best.

when she ended her performance and heard what the judges had to say they went to go sit on the stool where they have a little interview and give out the voting numbers. the scripted part was that Ryan Seacrest asked her if she want to give the numbers for her and her answer was "Ryan i'm a singer not a performance monkey like you!" It was scripted and ryan even said it was. people took it to heart and got rid of her.
