  • @302ho That wasn't me who called someone a fuck head. lol that was that CplHarris93 dude.

  • i might actually like to see this behind me lol

  • truck sounds great man! its too bad you sold it, hopefully the new owner is taking good care of it! oh, and dont worry, there is such thing as the 400m, it came before the 351m anyway...

  • @mechanic7916 finally some one whos not stupid! lol

  • maybe you should stick with firefighting then trucks bc there is no such thing as a 400m there is only a 351m u fuck head

  • @CplHarris93 the point of me putting the 400m on there was because that is what most people put in the search.

  • @CplHarris93 nice try Corporal, but there is such thing as a 400m ford, i have one in my truck as well. ford installed these engines in the heavier thunderbirds, LTD's, trucks, and vans from 1971-1982. The 400m was actually developed, designed, and tested BEFORE the 351 became available (the 351m was designed based on the 400m and the 351C). get your facts straight before you call someone a fuck head. do a search on the history of the 400m and open your eyes...

  • @mechanic7916 well then there must be a two ford 400 motors bc if u say there is a 400m and ik for a fact that its 400 and not 400m bc it says right in the LMC book tht it is a 400 CID 6.6l and there is a 351M CID 5.8l which is the only one with it. and they werent put in trucks till 77 to 79. My uncle also said its a 400 not a 400m. the reason ppl call it 400m is bc when u look at ur sticker under ur hood if its still there it normally says 351m/400

  • @CplHarris93 there are not two 400 v8's from ford. go to projectbronco and read up on the history of the 400m. you are right that they did not put them in trucks till 77 but they installed them in trucks untill 1982, it just was not the "base" engine like it was from 77-79. because the engines are so similar, they put 351m/400 on the stickers to save money. in lmc truck they do not put an m behind the 400 because it is the only 400 ford ever made. there were 3 diff 351's so to get the

  • @CplHarris93 correct part for the correct engine, they put the w, c, and m behind the 351 so you didnt order the wrong thing. you could get a 1980-82 f-250/350 with a 351m or 400m. they stopped putting those engines in the f-150's in 79. just dont call someone a fuckhead when your facts arent straight

  • @mechanic7916 I worked for Ford from the early 70's to around 1985 and can tell you with 100% assurance that there is no such engine as the 400M. The 400 came out in 1971, the 351M in 1975, and both were not used in trucks until 1977 through 1982 when the leftover engines were phased out. The "M" in the term "351M" was to signify that it was a "modified" version of the 400 engine since they are almost indentical. The 400 was not a "modified" anything but a new engine based on the Cleveland.

  • @mechanic7916 Sorry but if YOU did the research or were around back when these engines came out you would know there is no 400M. It is a common mistake by almost everyone including countless books, magazines, parts stores, aftermarket manufacturers, and novices of Ford engines.

  • @4fox85 thanks!

  • Awesome truck I have the same problem with my headlights being different shades

  • @dilsride lol mine werent different shades. but the truck is long gone i sold it

  • That isn't a Federal Signal Q...

  • @dynastar666 yes it is. Its an older one but it is a federal Q from the 1960s. It winds up and down quick from the new bearing.

  • @pacemiester I think you're mistaken. It may be some other type of mechanical siren but certainly is not a genuine Federal Signal Q.

  • @dynastar666 Yes it is. I can take a picture for you and send it. I even had federal signal check it out for me when I got it to find out its age.

  • Your POV has a Q! That is awesome!

Too bad you drive a Ford though! (Just kidding)

  • @Emsworker68 lol I used to be all chevy but I have to give ford credit its a nice body style and I like the way the engine sounds after I put headers on yesterday

  • ok cool

  • I got my rollbar and fullsize on today so expect a new one soon

  • grill light??

  • @longviewstud26 they came on with the truck when I bought it. I going to buy a flasher and hook them up to it.
