@ocerg1111 Bridges did all the filming with a head cam on for the CLU scenes, then they used a body double to represent the younger body, they had to do constant takes to match with bridges, and then they put a CGI bridges face over the double.

To get to the fountain of youth, apparently, you need a specially-designed helmet with 4 cameras attached, pointed towards your face and more than 100 dots covering face. Choreographing all your facial movements, projecting them to a computer. At least, that's what I heard.

Even though the 1982 version is very dated looking now, you almost expect it be due to the evolution of our computer technology. The critics of the original don't understand that they're making complaints that would be like comparing Pong to Halo. Of course there's going to be a difference in the effects! It's 28 years later!
