prdmommyof2, I think what you have to look at isn't "experience" but judgment. None of the candidates have experience as President, obviously. McCain has logged more time in Congress, but is that really valuable experience? I don't think so.
Obama has shown better judgment than McCain time and time again. Look at the Iraq War. Obama KNEW it was a bad idea and spoke out against it. McCain said it would be easy and inexpensive.
The problem was not created by Alan Greenspan. It was created by the world banks (the federal reserve) through the monetary system. Although he was chairman of the Fed for a number of years, he was merely upholding the cause of the problem not the source. It's this system thats flawed, but done so purposefuly.
U.S. foreign policy is the accelerator to this and gives the primary reason for loans "bailouts" which in turn creates inflation, devaluing the dollar.

In addition, Bush was quoted saying in 2002 that he "Just doesn't spend much time thinking about bin laden" and in fact, let him get away during the battle of Tora Bora

Second, I never said that Obama made it his NUMBER ONE priority. It was not his number one priority when he came into office. The number one priority has been jobs and the economy, obviously.

It wasn't a simple "yes" or "no" decision. A lot of things had to be weighed and considered. You don't have to like Obama, but he absolutely deserves credit and praise for this. Excellent!! Obama is the best President US has had in a very long time. An intelligent man whose actions come from the heart. The damages caused by unchecked capitalism, opportunistic globalization, unfair trade, offshoring/outsourcing, unnecessary wars, lack of diplomacy and pure greed have brought us to this place in history. I simply stated the reasons for our current troubles, not that Obama has necessarily addressed all of these issues since taking office. The point is that he has been working harder, focusing on all the important issues in a sensible, smart and methodical way that has not been done in the last 10 years. Before the election, the country's was without hope, heading in the wrong direction. Obama has brought optimism for the future.

prdmommyof2, I think what you have to look at isn't "experience" but judgment. None of the candidates have experience as President, obviously. McCain has logged more time in Congress, but is that really valuable experience? I don't think so.
Obama has shown better judgment than McCain time and time again. Look at the Iraq War. Obama KNEW it was a bad idea and spoke out against it. McCain said it would be easy and inexpensive.

The problem was not created by Alan Greenspan. It was created by the world banks (the federal reserve) through the monetary system. Although he was chairman of the Fed for a number of years, he was merely upholding the cause of the problem not the source. It's this system thats flawed, but done so purposefuly.
U.S. foreign policy is the accelerator to this and gives the primary reason for loans "bailouts" which in turn creates inflation, devaluing the dollar.

Of course, we could have a renegade rookie come in and pull us out completely of an unstable region further destablizing Iraq leaving it open to infiltration of groups who will re-launch attacks on the US. Hillary Clinton is the ONLY candidate that has marched in the streets with GAY AMERICA again & again, she has stood up for the personal freedoms & rights in the Senate for GAYS. She voted for the funding of AIDS. Obama voted against AIDS funding! Hillary & Bill also started an AIDS foundation. Obama has NEVER marched in the streets with us. When has Obama stood up for Gays in the Senate? Again, NEVER!! Obama only started speaking positively about Gays when he began running for PRESIDENT!

About the danger of the Military Industrial Complex taking over! It's not a conspiracy, IT'S REALITY! Eisenhower warned us that the "potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist" from the military Industrial Complex! This is real basic stuff! Just because someone isn't the nominee doesn't mean you can't vote for them. Ron Paul hasn't abandoned anybody! He's still in the race for the purpose of being the ONLY one other than Gravel and Kucinich to talk about REAL issues. He has accepted that, thanks in large part to the sold out and biased media, he won't win the presidency.
