  • Veer Savarkar, A Maharashtrian,A Hindu Nationalist said Hindi is the only language that can make us come together....Many Maharashtrian Freedom fighters believed this...Subhas Chandra Bose said this.Just because its not your mother tongue don't be against it...I am tamil and i don't agree with this anti hindi view

  • Hats off to Rahul Easwar :)

  • how many people in india know, hindi is not our national language?

  • If you got for higher studies out side India..their main requirement is we should have completed our high school atleast on English as main language.

  • aaranu ee rahul eashwer!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it will be a good attempt if we can translate entire engineering, medical etc books to malayalam ,just like in japan n other developed countries in the world, its not in english but in thier own languages .english can be a side language ,such a attempt should be made .we have more tham 52 alphabets in malayalam twice that in english so we can easily tanslate why no attempt is beging made because we are in a sad state and that is commercial life .government too does not care .lets hope ....one day

  • Tamil is older than Sanskrit and Hindi.

And Malayalam is a daughter of Tamil who incorporated many Sanskrit words, but it's still a Dravidian language.

Hindi has too many Persian words. It's not suitable for use in South India.

  • Nice comments Mr. Rahul Easwar! Probably comments could be more specific!

  • Mr.rahil eswar Dont blabllbal.... answer the question.....Malayalam must want to be first preference....

  • who is the person bombed atlast? Krishnayyar, chemmanam chacko or Rahul?

  • Is Justice Krishnayer so much narrow minded? If we learn malayalam will krishnayer give us job in MNCs and translate our malayalam to english in meetings with foreigners.

  • @nishanthnair Krishna Iyer is getting a huge salary and a kings ransom as pension. What does he care for the suppressed people of India?

  • @nishanthnair i am an indian living in europe and i am deeply sad to hear what you have said i dont blame you but i see why you are saying it just considering your aspirations .in europe, in japan in china and all developed nations they give first preference to their language and then to foreign languages and why are we in such a state .its not about jobs vs malayalam its about your love for your language .exchanging poor mother for rich mother in a way .I wish things were different .

  • @agaman16 I am shocked to heaar your comment. In all the countries you mentioned, the business language in those countries are their mother language itself. Japs dont go out of their country for jobs... their country is a rich country... there is no need for them to learn english... Why did you go to europe for a job? why didnt u display the love for your motherland and mother tounge and take a job in kerala? And do you plan to teach ur kids in malayalam rather than english?

  • @nishanthnair i was not against you, i was against a thought that to get a job in mnc we were speaking aganist Mr.iyers thought .well the fact about japan ,you look at history they were completely destroyed after world war .when they got things together the first thing they did was to remove all the ruling languages they had like spanish, english ,portuges ,french all these were there ruling japan at some point or other...after removing them only japaneses was introduced and they developed

  • Respond to this video... I fully understand why we have to learn english because of the opportunity to find job etc which i am fully in agreement with but do you see the greater loss i am speaking the situation they (the government )have pushed us into . we can be in any part of the world and still love our motherland all have gone for different reasons but have the same love for their land and their asperations to change something in their motherland should be also viewed .

  • Marathi is a beautiful language. So is Malayalam & Tamil and other languages. Hindi is the most used language in our nation. Hindi is also directly from the mother of all languages in India, Sanskrit. Hindi is not an alien language which is coming to dominate, rather Hindi is ours, an earlier growth from Sanskrit which spread all over.

I would simply invoke great Dr.Baba Saheb Ambedkar who said "Sanskrit should be made the National language and he couldnt make it becoz of insistence of Nehru

  • @yuvhind No. Sanskrit is not the mother of all languages in India. Tamil family of languages are not derived from Sanskrit.

  • Raj Thakray's demand for preference for mother tongue is justified.

Hindi is not a national language.

  • thankseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Nice message Rahul !!
