Mishu, your first 3 words in your comment answers it. Children do not understand. Life moves fast from what I have seen in Kenya and most everyone is doing what they can to get by and/or ahead. The woman sells the glue for 10s so her kids don't have to sniff glue to chase hunger and gain "courage to eat garbage". 30 x 10= 300 shillings for her to feed 3 people. A loaf of bread might be like 20 shillings. I have no clue on how long a 10s bottle of glue lasts but I am sure the kids were "taught"
