  • God I miss this guys voice so much

  • i always wanted a spaghetti kiss(:

  • Why did Disney have to re-issue their films every 7 years?? Other companies like Warner Bros and 20th Century Fox rereleased their films every so often and the franchise had a better opportunity to keep the popularity coming such as market sales and people knew what they wanted to get from seeing it. 7-10 years is too long to wait for a film to be reissued. They should release them at least every 3 or 4 years, that's what Warner Bros did. If they did it why can't Disney??

  • I love this movie, but I could never find what breed the Tramp was. Does anyone know what breed of dog he is?

  • @sherry56 ~He's a mutt... that was the whole point of the movie. She's the pure blood (the upper-class girl) and he's the mutt (the guy from the wrong side of the tracks. I personally think he is some sort of terrier/shnouzer mix though.

  • @eternalstormy

yeah I definitely think he's at least part schauzer, because he LOOKS like one.

  • love it :))

  • That's the first Disney video I ever had, when I was 4 years old!

  • @Rollergirl2001

Pinocchio was my first video when i was 4 along with Dumbo, Fun and Fancy Free, Mary Poppins, Sword in The Stone and some others including this one for my 6th birthday back in 87 with Sleeping Beauty, my parents were successful then. Did you see this movie in it's 86 re-issue in theaters as a kid? i was 5 and saw it two times. I also saw American Tail (3 times), Star Trek 4 and Little Shop of Horrors, did you see those too?

  • @Johnlindsey289 No, I first saw Lady and the Tramp when it was on video.

  • @Rollergirl2001

Oh ok but did you see Aristocats 87 re-issue, Cinderella 1987 re-issue, Snow White 87 re-issue, Roger Rabbit, Fox and the Hound 88 re-issue, Bambi re-issue, Oliver and Company and Little Mermaid in theaters as a kid too?

  • @Johnlindsey289 The only movie saw in the theater was The Little Mermaid. I saw Bambi on video.

  • #OMG fіlm super watch onlіne or clownload роор.su

  • the 7th floor mystery 2009...........is 100 sure the scariest........check it....don't see it alone........they are sitting and watching it with you..........

  • why didnt they make a third and why the heck did they stop making animated movies like this including animals in love.

  • freedogshampoo 1989 Re-issue Fun and Fancy Free Trailer

  • i lovee ittt omgg

  • My very favorite Disney movie since I was 3.

  • i have an idea but 1.i bet no one would do it and 2.ppl would think its stupid...send a letter to disney studios saying we want classic anamation and sequal to classics and want to throw out pixar!

  • Disney alone made the CGI crap like The Wild, Meet the Robinsons, and Chicken Little.

Pixar makes GOOD CGI films, like Toy Story, Finding Nemo, WALL-E, and Up.

Pixar is fine, but Disney should stick with 2-D, they're much better with it. Thank goodness for the Princess and the Frog! <3

  • Disney is actually good with CGI films now. Bolt is a good example.

  • @dejakhalz Yeah, I've been hearing that a lot... but there's no denying that 'Wild', 'Robinsons', and 'Chicken' were pretty poorly done.

I am looking forward to Rapunzel though.

  • Wonderful movie

  • Guess what?

After 22 YEARS of searching, and searching..............I finally found THE ORIGINAL version of this movie on VHS.

It is THE original Black Diamond Classic from 1987, and it plays perfectly............after a long 22 years, I finally have the original VHS cassette, and it plays beautifully.

    22 years.........wow.

  • @KAMIKAZR

I know what you mean, did you had this tape as a kid too? and do you have it on DVD?

  • Comment removed

  • wanna know something that will piss all of you off? Well I was watching a DVD and at the end of the opening bumper, I saw that they took walt's first name out of the logo...

  • wow i didnt relise this movie is older than i am :-o effing love this movie

  • best disney movie, star crossed lovers with dogs, it's something new without people, she's rich, he's poor and they fall inlove magic

  • i hate that they call stupid movies like hannamontanna and other 3d animated movies walt disney...i think only the classics like lady and the tramp and the lion king and snow white etc. should be called walt disney...does anyone agrree!?

  • yup . . i sure do agree.

  • Yes I do Do you agree that 2-d animation is better than 3-d animation and do you agree that the new Disney sucks?

  • I agree

  • the other day, i was worried that one day, these classic disney movies would just be, forgotten. when no one would appreciate them anymore. but then, if you think about it, walt disney is way too much of a classic already. it's like, he's the mozart and beethoven of children animation: unforgettable, classic, and one of a kind.

  • your right the new disney sucks man if walt disney saw what they did to it.....

well i grew up with this movie

i have the 1987 version on vhs and im lucky to even have it.

    I miss the old disney.

i hope they bring stuff like this back instead of that pop hanna montana and johnoas brother shit.

I will cherish the memories of walt disney forever

  • I'm sure old Walt would be turning in his grave now if he saw what happened to the movies of today compared to how Disney's films used to be

  • Laser 000111 Thank you for agreeing that 2-d animation is better than 3-d animation and for agreeing that the new Disney sucks ass and the old Disney is better and more refreshing, and I agree with your comment above, If Walt Disney was alive today seeing greedy Jews running his studios and the Jews running the Disney studios for money, Disney would fire all the greedy Jews at his studios. Plus shut down Disney x d and Disney channel

  • well walty is in some frozen chamber right now...i bet if he heard about pixar he would be so mad he would thaw out at smack the disney pixar manager dude thing-y man that controls the movie....thing...ies

  • You mean John Lasseter?

  • @laser000111

Walt disney is probably rolling in his grave seeing what's been done to his company. I miss the classics like this.

  • @MelodySaki

I know what you mean, it's teen garbage central. You and i are lucky to grow up in the 80's/early 90s as kids and mid-late 90's as teens i've seen every disney movie ever since i saw Pinocchio in december 84 3 times at 3 for i love it that much. Did you see the re-issue of this movie 25 years ago as well?

  • @Johnlindsey289

No - I refuse to watch the reissues anymore after the 'reissue' of The Lion King when they threw in a scene that did NOTHING to further the plot.

  • @MelodySaki

I mean did you see this movie in it's 86 re-issue? well the DVDs and Blu-rays of Disney include special edition and theatrical editions.

  • Remember the fake previews that we made up last year? Well, suppose a fake 1987 print of a Disney film was made. This trailer would appear and be edited for a home video release.

  • Too bad Disney won't release their classics to theatres anymore. Other then Disney classics, one of my local theatres in Lincoln, Nebraska (downtown) has been showing blockbuster classics for $5.00 on the big screen for the last two months. They started it off with Ghostbusters, then Pulp Fiction, and the last one was Jaws. The next one will be Back to the Future, which I do look forward to. It shows that people will go see classics on the big screen whenever they are advertised.

  • Yeah. I nearly crapped my pants when Disney decided to re-release their movies in IMAX, such a shame that they had to drop it.

  • one of my local theaters is showing classic movies during the summer time on Sunday,Monday,Tuesday, and Wednesday at Noon for maybe $5.00.

  • IT'S LOVE UN-LEASHED!

  • This is my favorite disney movie. I love the song La La Lu.

  • TRAMP was undoubtedly based on Errol Flynn!!

  • 3-d is great and all, but nothing can beat the classic 2-d's.

  • I agreeeeee!!

  • You Agree with me that 2-d animation can kick 3-d animations ass? Alright then, Thank you for agreeing that 2-d animation is better than 3-d animation!

  • Yeah! I got Another one that agrees with me that 2-d Animation is better than 3-d animation thanks for Agreeing that 2-d animation is better than 3-d animation ChargersLuver19. But you'll expect the New Orleans Saints kick the San Diego chargers butts this year when the saints and the chargers match up in a NFC west/AFC West game.

  • well they are making a new movie for disney studios...but i want more lady and tramp...maybe a cartoon show or a 3rd movie :/

  • That I can agree on

  • that I can agree on.

  • @ChargersLuver19 Disney doesn't seem to think like us, though.

  • When Walt Disney's Lady and the Tramp came in movie theatres from 1955 and then Disney Re-released again from 1962, 1972, 1980 and 1986 back then!

  • This is my favorite Disney Movie!

  • My number three favorite movie.

  • Love this great classic.

  • Is this from the 1986 print of Sword in the Stone?

  • No, it's from movie theaters!

  • You are right.

  • Sure thing.

  • Sword in the Stone had a trailer of Journey of Natty Gann.

  • Features 1985 WDP logo.

  • I love dis movie! It's #3 on my list.

  • That movie kicked ass. I have this on the 1998 Masterpiece VHS.

  • I have the 1998 Walt Disney Masterpiece VHS as well.

  • Remember tdrasaildig, he uploaded a diff. version of dis trailer.

  • I don't know the name of this particular voice-over artist, but he was heard on promos for the Disney Channel during the 80's and early 90's.

  • Yeah, I definitely could tell that it was the announcer for The Disney Channel, back when it was GOOD and not the crappy station it is now.

    What is his name, though?

  • I like Disney Channel old & new.

  • Yeah, but nowadays, on the Disney Channel, they have girls stuff, Playhouse Disney & mediocre Disney TV series.

  • I don't mind mediocre.

  • You don't. But, like I said, Disney Channel has mediocre shows, except for "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers," & "The Emperor's New School."

  • I'm a Suite Life fan.

  • Yeah Disney channel,Gay like all other kids networks! Who thinks old kids movies and old kids tv shows are better than today's shit on the gay kids networks? who thinks 3-d should go back to 2-d? who thinks 2-d is better than 3-d? Who's with me? leave me a comment and tell me what you think!

  • You are absolutely right, i mean sure spongebob is okay and fairly odd parents but everything else just blows

  • yeah when it gets to the point that the fairy odd parents and spongbob is getting annoying, yeah annoying, but I agree with you, and thanks for being with me to fight 3-d animation and make 2-d animation come back (if we 2-d animation fans win over 3-d animation). Click on my channel, and sub to me and you can become friends with me.

  • totally completely agree!!!!! 100%

  • thanks for agreeing, your comment gives a thumbs up!

  • New disneychannel is gay!

  • Now that I think about it, you're right.

  • Thank you Systemoperator!

  • I think it's Jerry Bishop. This is definitely the same announcer as for the old-school Disney Channel. I think he is also the announcer for "Judge Judy" today.
