No offence, but Pang and Tong are better. Zhang/Zhangs just got the good impression from the Olympics. Pang/Tong have come a longer way than they did. I'm not trying to say the Zhangs suck, but I'm just trying to point out how the world of figure skating could be unfair sometimes. I mean this team is like the FAVORITE. They get so much more than Pang/Tong...

But I guess nonetheless they are good. Just people think they're better than they actually are.

Well I agree that Pang/Tong has gotten less credit and attention then they should have. I think in terms of technique, the two teams are around the same, although my personal favourite is Pang/Tong

I agree totally, and I've been so frustrated that the judges don't see that. I like them but I have never understood why they get so much credit for their skating. They have no expression and seem totally aloof. I wish the emotion they felt when they saw the marks go up could spill over into their skating--then look out! I think that Pang and Tong are much better performers and are more artistic than Z&Z, and have been so underrated in the past 4 years.

I still remember their performance from the Olympics when she fell hard after a throw and was injured seriously but still kept going, finishing the performance. I really cried then, and this performance now makes me cry with its beauty.

4:19- WOW at the height on their triple twist.  It's just phenomenal. This is one of the best pairs SPs in my books.

Still remember wathcing Shen/Zhao's last SP a year ago, thinking that'd be the best pair SP ever. Now look at the Zhangs! They are at this unbelievable level that Shen/Zhao achieved in their late 20s. Zhangs will continue 2 make history, just a little bit more artistry, they will be unbeatable.

The Zhangs have great tricks but they will never be Shen/Zhou. They have no basic skating skills, no chemistry, no line, no elegance, no musical interpretation. Their spins and smaller elements are weak. All they are is amazing jumps, twists, great throws, and pretty good lifts. They win their medals by how excellent their big elements are, they lose titles since they are mediocre to weak in everything else. They will never be even close to Shen/Zhou.
