@AxelPRC oh believe me, he was trying. At the end of a race like that, you summon up a lot of courage and you shut out the pain. Its called wanting it badly
@backseatdriver03 your not understanding what im saying. If you can sprint like that at the end you werent working hard enough through the middle. The last 500m should be a huge effort just to drop a couple of splits the lactic acid should be overwhelming your legs shouldnt function that well
@sydneydragonblades Right. But he actually seems to be going only to half slide the whole race. I don't know if his legs are too big to get to full compression (I'm lightweight so I can get all the way to the catch) or if he can simply apply way more power this way but he's keeping up with a much shorter stroke
@Penguinboy17170 My coach told me that those strokes are more efficient, when u slide al the way up the momentum where youre legs can put in the most power is gone.
"At the IMD OWP 2010 Matthew Pinsent will share his experience from four Olympic campaigns, which resulted in four gold medals. He will highlight the importance of goal setting, communication, trust and ultimately the courage it takes to win in the toughest of conditions.
Pinsent is an absolute powerhouse. he must have been pulling splits of about 1:15 towards the end there when he caught Cracknell
