I had forgotten all about this song till I heard it on sirius the other day. This is why I still love the eighties, we had songs that were fun with a great beat. I was thirteen the year this came out and I wore out the vinyl record listening to it.

these chicks wrote and produced all their own material. they're all extremely gifted, multi-instrumentalists and composers. a real girl band, not like those commercial bullshit bands the go-go's, or the bangles. these gurls were a serious jam band like the spice girls or the breeders.
My teenager asked me what I thought was the worst song ever recorded. I flashed-back to the 80's and voila (!) youtubed this song for him. I had hoped it was a bad dream, but NOPE--there it was. I still can't believe this is even a song. Now, I've been singing it for days and wish someone would give me a lobotomy or shock therapy....anything to make it stop.

Heard this song while on a hour long drive on XM radio..Thought i'd heard every damn 80's song there was that was any good..I found it quite catchy!!!!
Saw this track on the I Know What Boys Like collection from Shenachie Records, along with a bunch of other 80s stuff (I Know What Boys Like, Goodbye to You, Vacation, Venus, Mickey, I Want Candy, etc.). I don't remember this song at all. And I grew up in the NYC area, so it's not like new stuff took forever to hit my local stations. Don't know how I missed this loony song. LOL
@flexxmi It's actually wikipedia. I wish everyone would stop believing everything they read in wikipedia. @daz580 This was a fashion at the time,a mainstream borrowing of something from the punk music scene that oddly, was meant to be anti-fashion. .Debbie Harry appeared on tv in a binliner creation,as did Pamela Stephenson and Toyah Wilcox. Hilariously awkward and FUN! The 80's new wave fashion and sound were great! Thanks for sharing! LOVE!

@ysbaddaden2003 more like the real life equivalent of The Misfits (from Jem), even before they were created. This song for some reason reminds me of Makin Mischief.

The 80's were good, but this was definitely not part of the good part of the 80's.
