Religion is not necessary. To us, God is necessary. God doesn't have to forgive, let alone tolerate us. Even still, He loves and cares for us and is interested in us on a very deep personal level. He forgives, He forgets, and He loves.

This song has been so much comfort to me in a hard time in my life. I have recently just been broken up with someone who I thought I was suppose to marry. I have been cycling through a fury of guilt and blame for all the mistakes throughout the relationship, its such a weight to live with to hold that shame and guilt on your shouldars, but Jesus tells us to carry his yolk, which is light and easy I believe this means letting him carry your shame and guilt so you can walk with him.

this video reminds me of a time in our Bible class. Our teacher wrote the word Jesus in the middle. We put some music on, and stopped talking. One by one we went up and wrote what God meant to us, who he is. That was one of the best days of our lives. We didn't talk, no laughed at each other. We were just there together, Loving our God

You should be accountable to someone, i can tell you from experience that the worst mistake is not to tell anyone and to try and get through it on your own. it took me two years to tell someone caus I was too ashamed and afraid to tell anyone, and i thought I could get through it on my own. I saw this at a youth conference - i almost cried
After it they said, "If you could write something on that chalkboard, and no one would know it was you, what would you write?"
Then they reminded us that God is greater than all of those things and he'll solve all our problems if we just let go and confess. So true!
