I have a border collie at home and shes perfectly happy cos i train her and walk her etc. I dont have to walk her for two hours a day i just spend enough time with her
These are really amazing dogs. But if you don't have plenty of land to run cattle or plan on exercising the border collie for a minimum of 2 hours a day without a leash please don't get a border collie. They are too valuable to the cattle rancher and sheep herder to have the breed destroyed for pet use. God forbid a puppy mill started breeding this special dog. They are highly active dogs and super intelligent who need to work for a living. NOT FOR HOME USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
