OK, I'm sorry about that last comment, I didn't read any of your other comments, just the one about clubbing moose. I thought your comment was a condescending remark about the seal hunt. It's a very touchy subject in Newfoundland, and when I see someone looking down on it I tend to go a bit over the top. Sorry about that. And no we don't club moose in Newfoundland. We're quite scared of them generally as they are very powerful animals with quite a strong kick, and a quick charge.

And they can not shoot the bull from road/highway but can shoot them if they are close to road .

What the heck is going on there - must be tourists - Newfs see em all de time son. In fact, my uncle, also a doc (deceased) and his wife ran into one around Grand Falls, and they were picking moose hair out of the back seat for a long time after (obviously the car needed repairs and the moose died - but better him than my aunt and uncle!)
