Every time I hear Beck, I think of that 911 victim remark. Then I think of the you tube video of people jumping to their death off the towers that day.
The "joke" was: "I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out of him. Is this wrong?"
The curriculum at Beck's "University" IS hatred. His slogan was "I HATE U". There is also a video of him telling his audience to shoot liberals in the head.
Yes, Beck, let's talk about violent rhetoric. Let's also misquote Obama.
Let's talk about your "joke" about wanting to kill Michael Moore. Yes, it was in 2005; and you never apologized for it; just said it was a joke.
No, you don't have a right to be "irresponsible", as you say you do, when you encourage violence. How about we talk about Your batshitcrazy rhetoric? Like on this clip?
Never mind; you don't try to reason with people like Beck; you just pull out the butterfly net....
I have to disagree. I think he does have the right to be irresponsible. After all, he has no responsibility except to his sponsors. (The gold scammers and survivalist food companies). He is after all just a soap salesman, not a politician or someone truly responsible for the well being of any constituent except, again, his sponsors.
The only problem I see is that he's presented as, (and taken by some to be), a serious person. He really belongs way out on the margin with groups like WBC and people like Alex Jones.

Do you really need to think about Beck any more?
