How to get free ringtones for your LG Voyager

Hi, I'll know how we do put other ringtones on LG because I have just one on my phone and I'll like put other.... and I can not remove other ringtone because they are always saved ! can you help me please ?

@jutuyo if ur verizon, instead of using bitpim open an email and attatch the .mp3 file to an email and send it to XXXXXXXXXX@vzwpix.com

Great video, but I still have problems,I clicked 10889 folder and made a ringtone folder, then I put my custom ringtone in it, but it does not show up in my phone. Is it because it's a bell phone?

BLAH! When I get to BitPim, I don't have a CDMA USB Serial Port! I'm with telus, so it didn't come with any drivers I guess. Can somebody help me out?

YES it worked thanks so much! For some reason on my phone though the ringtone file wasn't in the 10889 thing but in another file. Still worked though!

I can add files to my phone and they show up in the ringtones folder in bitpim, but they aren't in my My Ringtones folder after rebooting, just the default ringtones?

Wow it worked, first time. Thanks a lot kid I was trying so hard how to do this. The quality of the audio is pretty decent too. Just a note, tell people when they connect the USB to set the sync mode to 'data' and leave it like that. I was under the impression you had to go into tools and set it as 'mass storage device'.

Actually, you don't have to set the sync mode to anything. I just plug it in then sync. I don't hit music or data.

Instead of locating 10889 on the mod menu, try locating ringtones. If their not there, you'll just have to do a little searching on your phone.

I have a problem. When I go on BitPim, and click settings, I can find the phone (LG Voyager), but then when you say to browse ports, I can't find the port you ask to select, anywhere.  It doesn't even exist in my unusable ports!. My only Available Port is my ThinkPad Modem, but that's it. Please help me, as I really do want Mr. Crowly as my ringtone for my new phone

Make sure you installed the drivers CD that came with the phone, and if you can't find the name of the phone, just look for the model number, which is LG VX10000 for the Voyager

I found the model, the com port is the problem. I have installed the driver to my computer, but I still cannot find the correct port. Any other suggestions?

Honestly, I have no clue; sorry. All I could tell you is make sure you installed the software correctly, and try maybe restarting your computer. Thats all I could tell you, sorry
