  • do you have to use single sided needles or can you use the double sided?

  • clean your fingernail's

  • the blanket she ends up with has a pattern . the way she show us does not include the patterning and is not going to make the blanket that she ends up with. BEWARE you will not end up with what she has . you will end up with a plain blanket with lots of small ridges. very misleading video.

  • kniting is easy! casting on is difficult

  • i this thing sucks!!!!

  • Thank you very much Howcast!! I am a beginner at knitting and this video will help me make a wonderful homemade gift for my mom.

  • This is VERY misleading! That simple stitch will not result in that beautiful blanket!

  • o.o im lost at step 6

  • random fact at the end.....

  • guys its not hard...its like a giant dishcloth

  • i got it. looks easy to me.

  • Whos going to sit there for 10 hours to make a blanket?

  • they don't explain why her blanket is wider than the needle.. horrible vid

  • @TheQuinian did you see how the cast on was all crowded on the needle? if you were to stretch out the cast on stitches and it would be the same width as the blanket. she crowded all those stitches on the needle so the blanket would be wider than the needle.

  • step 5 confuse me

  • whats a slip knot

  • SLOW DOWN, BIATCH.

  • thanks for explaining nothing

  • or you could knit small squares and sew them together i like color variation

  • that type of cast on is the worst.long tail method is a whole lot better

  • She is going too fucking fast! 3:-

  • ummmm, this basically says " knit until you have a piece of fabric the size you want, and call it a blanket"

  • ummmm i have 0.5 size needles will i be able to make this blanket plz reply xx

  • So it's like making a giant scarf

  • i cast on 135 stitches then knit 6 rows then for the 7th row i knit 6 stitches the pearl 1 then i repeat knitting 1 and pearling 1 until my last 6 stitches and i knit the last 6 stitches again then for the 8th row i knit 9 stitches then repeat pearl 3 then knit 3 till my last 6 stitches and knit the last 6. i repeat rows 7 and 8 till its as long as i want it. and i knit 6 rows straight and bind off. it makes a beautiful pattern.

  • @bekah21091 THANK YOU!!!!

This video doesn't explain anything!...I got here cause I was looking for a pattern idea :P

    I'll try out yours =)

  • do you need to do chrochet

  • do you need to do chrochet or not.

  • This is a terrible instructional video.

  • I renewed my interest in knitting after reading loomknittingnow (.) com

  • talk to fast

  • that blanket looks super nice. So basically you just put a ton of loops on one needle and just push them back until you have as many cast on loops needed. I'm knitting a scarf but I wanted to learn how to do really large things so I could make everything from arm warmers to sweaters.

  • how many cast on stitches should i do?

  • @brandygaleos

Yeah that was the only reason I wanted to waatch this!

  • Lawl, the first time I tried knitting I made the double-stitch mistake and the "scarf" I was knitting kept getting wider and wider, until finally I just stitched up the sides and made it into a bag. :P

  • @OpheliaTru *cough* I think I'm heading down this same path lol I'm a beginner

  • This is very misleading, the blanket they make is complicated, if someone knits a blanket in the stich you show it won't look like that.

  • Lol for some reason I read, "How to Kill a Blanket". I was confused and intrigued at the same time.

  • @CHA0SBLEEDS

Howcast is tricky with their psychological titles.

  • I prefer to buy it done.

  • @rickbrie then why would you even bother to watch this video?

  • @xXlegitestXx because it's here for everybody to watch and we don't know what's the video like before we watch it. Simple as it can be. By they way everybody is free to comment, positive or negative.

  • 1) Learn to knit 2) Make blanket 3) ??? 4) profit

  • @nagaempress

    The perfect formula for success.

  • BLANKETS MAKES MY DICK FEEL BIGGER.

  • (third) Finally, a Howcast video that applies to me AND is useful. :P

  • 2nd...

  • No one is saing first morons! :)
