redsuns22....Well that's because I started the video with Vietnam pics and then transitioned into Iraq and Afghan time frame since these songs can be used for any conflict and anyone who ever served can relate to both of the songs in the video. My Ranger buddy Keni Thomas did the music. It is from his CD "Flags of our Fathers...A Soldiers Story"...Kenny served with the 3rd Battalion, 75 Ranger Regiment TFR in Somalia, Oct 1993......RLTW

@springer94 I'm assuming it is Kenny Thomas. They portrayed him as a former ranger so he was probably 'playing' himself on the show.

Wow now I wish I would have gotten the chance to thank him for his service, I watched him performing these songs at the Lincoln Memorial. he is an amazing artist. Thank you for the info springer94.

I saw this song preformed live 8-28 at the Lincoln memorial at the Restoring Honor rally, and it braught me to tears I was so so thankful to hear this song and a few other wonderful songs about our heros being preformed at the end of the event.

We were supose to learn from R great loss of our falling family members, be they born into our blood or not they soaked the lands with theirs, wake up america did we not lose enough of those we loved before, bring are Husbands, Wifes, Brothers, Sisters, Sons, Daughters,etc in the 60's&70's, bring our our familes home once more, they have honord us greatly and have fought bravely and have made us a pround nation of people have they not?
