Most "ads" I've seen are designed to bring awareness to AIDS and to the organizations that are working on behalf of finding a cure and/or working with AIDS patients. These organizations need to raise money so they often advertise to bring awareness. enlist support ,and raise funds.

The pride parade isn't only about being proud it's about the fight for equality and the struggles that gay people go through day in and day out. Heterosexuals have no struggles. I'm not saying they shouldn't have one, I'm just saying there is no need for one

Simple. Hetereosexuals were not opressed and discriminated and never really suffered as homosexuals have and still do. Look all around you, there is heterosexual privilege EVERYWHERE. So really, there is no need for straight pride parades

@ITALIANO87RAFF the difference is that they still arent allowed to get married, the parade is to help support the issue so that the government may someday let them, they should have the right to get married. Alot of states still have it illegal, Slavery is taken care of thats why its awkward for them to say people owe them things, but the gays still dont have that freedom they long for everywhere. :) i hope you can understand.
