True, but the tv adaptation of it seems much closer to the Twilight series than the novel version of Vampire Diaries. I haven't taken the time to watch VD but if i did i'd prob like it too-I' d just feel like i was cheating on the twilight saga lol so for now Edward is enough for me :-)

meh the vampire diaries novels pretty much suck. smith really cant write, the ideas are there, but it seems really dated and childish and the characters are very one dimensional- Im actually amazed at how good the series is in comparison. theyve worked wonders with very little decent material.
