i dont get why people would give Scizor Night Slash. You dont get STAB, and it has 1 super effective hit X-Scissor doesnt get. Not to mention said STAB has 2 super effective hits dark doesnt get... maybe its just me who thinks this?

Hitting ghosts like dusknoir is very useful, as dusknoir is one of the most common pokemon used in doubles. In addition to that night slash has double the chance of critical hit as a regular move (1/8 instead of 1/16)

Yeah, but if you want Scizor to go up against Dusknoir, it's gonna need Substitute to block that inevitable Will-o-wisp. And unless said Dusknoir has fire punch, its not likely getting through that sub anytime soon. Then Scizor could just Swords Dance up and then KO with X-Scissor or Bullet Punch or whatever. To us Night Slash just to try to KO with a luckier crit just doesn't seem worth it to me. I'd rather go with the logical, strategic approach.

And if that Dusknoir lack Will-o-wisp, then Night Slash would be fine. But a grand majority of the time, Dusknoir will most likely have will-o-wisp. As for the other ghosts... yeah, still not buying it.

Most dusknoir's in good doubles teams lack will-o-wisp....most are used to set-up and that means set-up move, imprison ( to block others from setting up your move), protect ( to stall out imprison and p stall), and an offensive move (usually shadow punch or shadow sneak)

I have a Level 60. Scizor is a great double pokemon for my team, actully. They have a steel move, dark move, and a grass move that are physical. His sword's dance can boost those up quite a bit until it can 1 hit KO most monsters that my normal fighters can't kill well.

Scizors are one of my favorite pokemon.

1. do you have to have a cord of some sort to transfer pokemon from pearl to PBR

2. once to transfer the pokemon to PBR, can you transfer back to pearl?

nope, it is al wirelessly, and it is explained in the game. also, the pokemon are just copied, so u have to update them regularly onto the PBR if u train them in P/P/D, and yah.

gigatitan yesterday i was facing a palkia on wifi i took out two of my pokemon my last zapdos faild to ko it from half helth it

used spacil rend which took my zapdos to slighty under half pressure must have taken out spacial rends reamining pp it used dragon claw which failed to ko zapdos and i took it out with thunderbolt if it wernent for preesure i probodly would have lost when i viewed his friend pass after i had won it probodly wasent ev trained as it had the hm move strengh
