  • This is just a workout ! It's not to teach you how to fight better xD maybe to block but if somebody came at me with a hammer and sword move i might lolz

  • @austinbnryahoo only way for that is if you do the stuff in the vid. with with fighting intentions rather than losing weight and even so it's not likely that you will be any good, you will probably be able to do a move or two but unless you do the Martial Arts training ( in this case Kenpo) with an actual sensei with the equipment they use you won't be that much of a fighter

    I wouldn't doubt it. If you are a total greenhorn fighter, then it will help you fight better. But still, it's designed as a cardio routine, not an MMA routine.

  • i admit this a good cardio workout but if you were like my cousin who saw this and said ohh cool im going to be doing what your doing....(i do Kenpo Karate...which is a good cardio workout 2).....i viewed the video and thought....only like 2 of those moves would work in a fight....but like i said earlier a good cardio workout none to less

  • Sore keeps coming, the more you do the workouts the harder you work and the more reps you do and the better you get the more sore you get, so unfortunately for me the soreness has not gone away but its worth it. Workouts are amazing and after 4 weeks my body has changed more than it has with taebo workouts 4 days a week along with other exercise programs. I won't give up on this workout series! Bring it!!

  • I just started my P90X, This is day 7 for me. I love it but Im soooo sore. I have be struggling with different workout for more than a yr. I have never been this sore. Will the soreness get better? I couldn't keep up with one of the workouts because of the soreness. I wanted to give up, but continued and made it through the whole video. Is there anything I can do to help the soreness. Or this is something that will go away with time?

  • The soreness will improve with time. I recommend continuing with the program, you may not be at 100% but do your best each workout, and soon it will improve. Don't give up, it's tough for everyone first starting out.

  • @lovershaters2008 Make sure that you are consuming a recovery drink and are getting the appropriate protein supplement after your workouts.

  • @187lickmynuts For sure Im doing it. my fat is being replaced with my muscle growth. Its very exciting to see what my body is capable of. P90X!

  • I'm an overweight 10 year old and I do this stuff. I just did the 'plyometrics' 3 days ago and 'legs and back' 2 days ago. "Shoulders and arms" is really hard, too. I'm doing the kenpo today. The Ab Ripper X is extremely hard,too. i just started but i feel like a million bucks now.

  • That's a myth. Study after study shows that supervised weight training has NO effect on linear growth. What WOULD do that is steroids, which throw the hormones out of whack when they are most needed during adolescence. But weight training itself does not stunt growth.
