what was the make of the RC that won the race?, and anyone have any suggestions for someone looking to get into the hobby.. but be competitive still.. more rely on my driving(if there is any there) then rely on a crappy car?

Nice racing, but they should really keep stock Slashes in their own class.

@drumminjim22 The "stock" class at this track was originally Slash Spec, but more recently it's simply been open to any vehicle with stock tires, motor, and electronics, so owners of other RTRs could get out there & race without spending a bunch of money on a new BL system & race tires. The class is really dying out though, and I think the main reason is the huge discrepancy between performance of different RTRs. Everybody's going to the Open class or 4WD.

@drumminjim22 If Slashes can have their own class, than Blitzes and SC10's should all have their own class. Or they can all be combined into 2WD Stock
