the problem with Dragon Skin is that the adhesive that holds the plates together fails if submerged in diesel fuel or is exposed to hot temperature. That's why the armor works fine in normal, North American conditions, but fails miserably in Mid East conditions, where we're currently stationing troops. And the adhesive was used because the older models, using steel wire, were too heavy. Pinnacle needs to stop whining and improve their adhesive if they want a contract.
this is pathetic. fucking army says its unsafe, yet when tested using a dummy equipped with dragon skin, a frag grenade was set off beneath the dummy, and the shrapnel did not succeed in penetrating it.
