I remmember playing the game as England versus France, I was conquering France pretty well then my king died of old age and the new king (his name was Arthur so its like king Arthur) came of age and took the thrown. the next year he was prosecuted and killed by inquisitors.... Inquisitors killed King Arthur!!!!!! I quite the campaign after that it was a disgrace

i hate fighting the french when im playing as the english ! when i first played the game as them i didnt defeat the french in 100 turns!!! and for scotish i defeated them in 50 turns :D because i was peaceful until they had huge armies D:

i was at a greater disastr i think after a crusade where i took like 3000 men wich was almost my whole army ( this was on my 5th hour or sum in the game ) on the way home my king died and all the captians got killed by egypts on the sea

Either get a mod, or its in your options menu's to change the size. Mines the highest it gets stock wise.

Oh well i have a dou core processor working hard. That and a Ati Radeon X800 card and some gigs worth of ram. :)

I got help from a neighbor to put it togather, its a major plus cause when I started watching attila play rome, my old computer would lag on the campaign map and, medium-large battles. So he was basically my shining light you could say. Now my computer burns through medieval total war like its a 2d flash game.
