  • this danceing was beautiful, especially from someone so young. just gotta wok on the turnout a little bit and you'll be great :) (PS: i have friends who have the same body build and they eat three times as much as i do, if only we were all so blessed!!)

  • so beautiful!

  • Oh,how I miss dancing...

    Beautiful,by the way <3

  • I just did a dance to this song at my last recital for modern class. haha. that's ironic =0 )

    beautiful dancing Carly : )

  • seems just a little stiff in the begginning...sure she was nervous though

    but she is truly AMAZING!!!!

    Awesome technique

no doubt she works her butt off everyday!!

  • im sorry but honestly people should stop judging others, what we see isnt always what it is. we may a skinny girl but according to people THAT ACTUALLY KNOW HER she eats heaps.

    - - have heaps of friends that stuff their faces and still well at 40kgs. ppl gota accept that EVERYONE is different and there are many diff body types out there

and besides.her weight could never distract one from her beautiful dancing. absolutely amazing

  • ...i'm just as thin and i'm 17. and i eat like any normal person would. that's just the way my body is, and i don't think it makes my dancing look any less beautiful.

dancers dance from their heart, not from their weight.

i hate comments like the ones on this video. it makes me sad. :/

the dancing was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. i loved it. good job, girl!

  • seriously just stop.

she is amazingly beautiful. dancing and body.

  • Great dancer, but too thin. If she had a costume that is more covering she will not look so thin

  • Great dancing!!!

  • I don't think she's too thin at all, it just looks like she's naturally built that way and her weight suits her body type.

    pretty dance!

  • SUCH a beautiful dancer.

and "No such thing as 'too thin' if you're a dancer."

    ^ Untrue.

  • She is like just shy of 12 years old here...She is tiny and that's her build..trust me she eats..that's for sure (sorry Carly)..we promote healthy dance! Meaning weight is weight...that's just what it is and will costume effectively, its pure and really positive for every kid. Hate the comments I'm seeing. If you would have ever met her mom you wouldn't say these things, ha, she is the biggest mama bear (which she knows the health of her daughter. so you all need not worry.

  • she may be

    and she is

    a beautiful dancer,

but it's a bit distracting how her body image is.

    She doesn't look healthy, y'know?

To me, that just takes some of the beauty out of it.

  • A spin to a leap is actually dang easy.

  • No such thing as "too thin" if you're a dancer.

  • amazing talent, but scary skinny...

  • DANG! She can DANCE! she went from a spin to a leap. DANG! wow... that must have taken a lot of practice to get that good though

  • Wow! Amazing fwetaes ( check spelling). It was flawless.

  • I believe it's fouette - originating from the french verb "to whip"

  • she doesnt have an eating disorder. i know carly and shes healthy.. shes just very active and it runs in her family being skinny

  • okay i think that she looks pretty okay.

i dont know, maybe she does have an eating disorder but i think its natural because she looks exactly like me.

when im dancing it looks like you could snap me like a twig and trust me im healthy. i like cant gain weight. im the one of the skinniest of my friends and trust me i eat a TON!

but i wouldnt jugde her about something you dont know.

  • Anorexia (no mean to offend) but certainly, she has eating disorders. You could be as good as you are if only you eat...Neta, no le veo lo estético a tanta delgadez (y podría verse mejor con uno 5 kilitos más).

  • i dont think she has an eating disorder.

because my best friend dances and she

    looks exactly like that..

  • sorry, but it is extremely rude to accuse someone of having an eating disorder. Especially when you don't know them.

This girl had very fluid movement, pretty and graceful :-)

  • amazing amazing! but u gotta watch the toes....im not sure if ur adding the modern technique and mixing in with lyrical....but it confuses me...but otherwise....good.

  • Your very good but i'd have to agree your body just is very thin. I'm sure you eat a lot too haha. It's just your metabolism? Maybe wear something less expressive of the back and rib bones?! but yeah seriously you are an amazing dancer.

  • it scares me to watch you dance please eat im scared your gonna break or snap your body

  • That left arm gets a little out of control on leaps and jumps. Other than that pretty good!

  • That left arm gets a little out of control on leaps and jumps. Other than that pretty good!

  • I stand corrected, not all of this watkins guys choreo is spastic. She's really good. She has great technique. I just don't really like the running part unless the meaning in the song justifies an action like that. I noticed alot of these hall of fame dancers do running in their routines. I don't get it. I would only run in a solo if it was really dramatic or upbeat and the song would call for something like that. Good solo tho.

  • someones extremely skinny.

  • what do you mean by that?

  • it means the girl looks like she has an eating disorder and is going to pass out...she is an incredibly talented dancer, but she won't be for long if she continues depriving her body...your bones dont support your body so well when they are crumbling...

  • why are you acting like you know she has a problem? you shouldnt say that she is depriving her body & her bones are crumbling

you have NO idea of her situation

  • hmmm...interesting...if you say so.

She looks ill. Period. People who are naturally thin do not look emaciated--she does. There is a stark contrast between someone who is naturally thin (and healthy) and someone who is starving themselves to be thin (and thus unhealthy).

I may not know her individual situation, but I do know eating disorders. And that girl has something going on...

  • Ah and forgot to clarify...I didn't say her "bones are crumbling." Osteoporosis is extremely common among girls with eating disorders--especially dancers with eating disorders. Because their bodies aren't getting enough calcium, their bones don't develop fully or reach peak density. As they get older, their bones age and become brittle at a much faster rate than normal. Thus, their bones begin to fracture and crumble. It's hard for a 20 yr old to dance when they have the bones of a 70 yr old...

  • i know what osteoporosis is.i'm not saying that she doesnt have any type of disorder, BUT saying that she is depriving her body isnt fair to say since you do not know her or have actually seen her in person. there are in fact people who naturally look that way becasue their metabolism is way too high [my aunt]& there is nothing they can do about it-i'm not trying to say that she doesnt have a problem-but someone who sees her video shouldnt make comments regarding her having an eating disorders

  • shes so good

and the choreography is actually good too!

there are a decent amount of turns, but nothing too show-offy

    its really good

  • wow

    she's great!

  • SO cute and petite and graceful, she looks like a fairy!

  • here body just flows effortlessly

  • amazing leaps and control! i love how fluid she is!

  • very talented [=

  • you are amazing (: i love your interpretation to this song(sarah mclachlan Hold on)
