  • pls TIME FOR HEROES CHORDS thanks

  • what are the chords pete doherty uses when he plays it on the bbc interview acousticlly?

  • cheers mate, good vid, got that chorus sorted now.

    nice one

  • This is how i play it. Not sure if it's right but sounds ok.

    Verse: C - DD, EM- UDUDDD, AM - DD, AM7 - UDUDDD, DM7 - DDUDUDDD, G - DDUDUDDD

  • @Conorrrr1977 I guess your strum is right, but I play it like: DD UUUDUD!

    it's easier for me :)

  • good video man great stuff

  • love your vids m8, nee fuckin aboot or talking shite for 10 mins. LOVE THEM (and i always wonder why people watch stuff like this then say its wrong, if they can play it so well why the fuck they watching it in the first place? knobs)

  • d d ududddd

after 2 downstrokes you change chords

i dont think this is the actualy riff they play but this is how i play it.

  • Hi can anyone nail down a strum pattern for this one please? It's quite a nice beginnerish song to play but i'm struggling with the pattern on this one?

There is a change in chords mid strum pattern and i'm just stuck on it?

    thanks

  • strumming pattern plese XD

    ur great btw

  • This is so wrong. still sounds fine tho. but in the verse it goes C, Cmaj7, Am, Am7, Dm7, G. and the chorus is so different its unbelievable

  • Btw i wasn't criticising u or anything i was just tryin to help

  • the verse is

    C, Em, Am, Am7, Dm7, G

  • no.....

  • yeah , i think i'd know tbh mate.

Either that or your guitar might be out of tune :-). Hold on do you play?

  • you go play it "right" then it sounds fine weather its how pete plays it or not

  • Sorry, it's not an Em at all. It's a Cmajor7.

Your Eminor only sounds right because you don't put any emphasis on the low E; the chord is the same from the D string down/up.

  • this helped loads

    thankyoooou

    <3

  • great post. I couldn't find the right tabs for this anywhere so thanks alot

  • good playing, well done =]

would you be able to give me the strumming pattern please?

    thanks

  • hey, the strumming pattern that Pete uses for the verse portion is D,D,U,U,D,D,D

  • Thanks for post nice one

  • thanks a LOT, this is so helpful! keep posting!

  • its not Em it's C7 thats how its written in the books of albion

  • hmm... i think the C in the chorus is barré (8th fret on low E string) and the Dm7 you play before G in chorus should be a regular D. That´s alteast the live version by Pete. Anyway, great.

  • yeah i cant figure out the strumming pattern of the chorus. could some one tell me. thnx x

  • great vid!
