@enjoythewild I too thought the same thing about hammocks!! But after observing my fellow hikers SLEEPING like babies on the same trips that I tossed about on the ground I decided to give it a try.
When sleeping in a camping hammock, you actually sleep on a diagonal, straightening the hammock into an almost flat surface. There are no hard spots, no arm going numb or hip grinding! Just suspension..I can actually sleep on my side with no problem. Google Hammock Forums and read some of the posts!
Great job on the video! Two things tho.....my tarp is the Superfly with integrated doors :-[] and...look above....it's the Chattooga River Trail not the Cohutta River Trail .....LoL heehee

When you sleep in a hammock, does it every hurt your back? I just can't understand why hammock sleeping is consistently described as comfortable.
