I wouldn´t say just a magnet, its a neodyim magnet which is a very powerfull magnet and the important thing is that to make it work it´s very important to get the right combination on spinning, weight and heigh base levels which is not as easy as sound

Well, at the begining is not so easy, I spent about 2 days to get the "feeling", I found it´s a combination of "weights, spining,levels balance and even temperature " ... yes.. I found that when I got it levitating in the morning, when I tried it at night I had to do a little adjustments. I use one metal middle size , one metal big zise, two plastic big size, two plastic little size and one plastic midle size. Hope it helps.
