This interview was posted in 2008 and Southern Avenger and Richard Spencer are actually predicting that if Obama goes to war, the conservatives will criticize him for starting a war which doesn't serve the country's interest.
Here we are in 2011 and both men have been proven absolutely correct.
They are dangerous . . . mainly to their own countries (that is why they are often fiercely oppressed and tortured by dictators). They pose a minor threat to certain European countries and virtually no threat to the continued existence of the USA.
They also appeared on the world scene due to Western government support which used them against Arab Ba'athist-style nationalism.
Virtually no threat? Exactly where were you on 9/11/01? Two people I knew personally are now molecules thanks to radical Islam. Take a ride to Dearborn, MI, Patterson, NJ, or Atlanitic Avenue in Brooklyn and then tell me how there is "virtually no threat."
These savages appeared LONG before Ba'athism came into fashion. Google Wahhabi/Wahhabism (and its spelling varieties) and you will see that this movement has been growing for a century or more.
I did not say Islamic extremists cannot threaten people, I said they pose no threat to the continued existence of the USA. That is different . . . and true.
Dearborn is not scary because there are muslims there. I am not pro-multiculturalism but I am not scared of muslims. Calm down.
Yes, they have been around for a while as a FRINGE movement. But with all the proposed and realised regime changin' by the West, Saudi is untouched. Hamas was nothing before Israel built it up to counter PLO.
Let radical Muznutters get ahold of a few nuclear weapons, especially in the Middle East, shutdown the Persian Gulf, and then see what impact it has on the USA.
I agree that the Dearborns, etc, in and of themselves are not threatening. What they will breed in two generations is very scary.
I must question your understanding of the influence of radical I slam on the Saudis. They have blackmailed them for a generation and use KSA as their bankroll. You are correct about Hamas.
Like the show! Always a good listen and and interesting topics... Have you done a show on the national debt and why it isn't a topic for the '08 presidency? After all I think that this and the trade deficit are the real issues that effect Americans as much if not more than the War and the unethical foreign policy of the neocons.
That's the problem. I can't find one single political movement that has worked. How can these political groups fail ALL THE TIME?
For the record, liberals aren't nice and neo-cons aren't effective. Both are self serving, money grubbing power mongers being played by lobby groups and fucking the lot of their constituents.
Oh, I know the major players are like that. But the typical liberal or neo-con VOTER thinks that way. Telling them that nine out of ten times the people they vote for don't even share their values is ineffective however, even though it is the truth.
Hence take it that they are right. That taking money from the wealthy and giving it to the poor is nice, preemptive war and torture are effective, and the government doesn't have ulterior motives in either instance (because they won't believe it).
i wont vote for him mostly because he was a baptist pastor. i do like his policies but they are almost exactly the same as Bob Barr's, and Barr is already polling at 6%. if that percentage increases to 15%, he'll be in the debates. i wish my fellow Ron Paul supporters who stop being so divided and back Bob Barr. it would have been nice if it was Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin together on the Libertarian ballot...two of Ron Paul's buddies on one ticket would have done some damage!
He won't make it (seems to have a very small budget) and if he did they would probably change the rules to exclude him or find some technicality or a major candidate would make an excuse to drop out. The system is stacked against small parties for a reason, you know.
It is time for small parties to radicalise and stop playing the big parties' games, proclaiming that America is NOT democratic (nor properly republican)!
i loved your response. and you're right, the third parties really do need to radicalize and stop being pussies that allow themselves to be shoved off to the side.
i wonder if Barr "seems to have a very small budget" compared to the mainstream parties because they're owned by big business, and therefore controlled by them under this corporate fascism that we know live under.
america has become everything it once stodd against, it's fucking pathetic. and people STILL support reps and dems.
Thank you for presenting the Trotskyite roots of the Neo-Conservative movement. Orthodox Trotskyism on the left is a cancer; Neo-Conservatism today is also a cancer. In recent years, I am realizing that the Paleo-Cons, the Libertarians, and the overall Old Right do have a sense of honor about them that is lacking in the Neo-Conservative movement today.
Is there any way to listen to your radio show online, Jack??? I'm not in SC, so I obviously can't listen to it the traditional way. I went to the WTMA website, and I couldn't find you listed in the schedule of talk show hosts, for whatever reason.

The republican party needs to lose the neo-conservatism and get back to it's working class roots.

I am no lover of the Bush Administration, but I sure wish the Libertarians would recognize the dangers of radical Muzmuppets

Utilitarianism. Such a flawed concept.
People care too much about what is effective (neo-cons) or nice (liberals) that they over look what is right, which isn't always effective or nice.

Neo-Zionism is the cancer that has infected the U.S. They control the media and the domestic banks as well as the IMF/World Bank.
An easy way to tell is if they are CFR members and do they take AIPAC money is a tell tell sign of neo-zionism.

THANK GOD! THANK YOU S.A. for getting this out.
Neocons, piss on their graves.
Neocons do NOT represent the Average American.
They're a small group of Zionists.
Not that Zionism is God awful but this strain running America isn't looking out for Americans!
