Yup, definitely French. They probably did that so those copies could go to either USA or Canada. Some Wii games have manuals that are in three languages (ENG/ESP/FRA)...which of course makes for a really thick manual, but I can see why they do it.

@DarkZerkerX being born and raised in nyc but living in texas the last few years and some years in florida being in the south has shed some light on what slangs are not used down here. Like i've come to notice that slang words like "madd" and "dope" is a northeastern thing. In the case of "dope" it's basically like saying awesome or cool. This all makes sense when phil uses these words because i believe he lives in Connecticut.
